Rupert Grint finds it "difficult" to meet up with his ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars.
The 29-year-old actor – who shot to fame playing Ron Weasley in the wizarding franchise – formed a close bond with the likes of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson when they made the movies, and though they try to stay in touch, the attention they receive when they all get together can make it tricky.
He told heat magazine: "Yes [I keep in touch] but it’s difficult. It’s quite hard to go down the pub with them all."
Rupert recently sat in the audience at West End production ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ and admitted it was a weird experience to see someone else take on his beloved character.
He said: "I did go to the play and it was like an out-of-body experience for me.
"To see my character taken on my someone else was very strange, but I loved it."
His co-star Emma recently revealed the ‘Harry Potter’ actors keep in touch with a WhatsApp group, and they are all very supportive of one another in their new jobs.
Speaking at a screening of her latest movie ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – in which she plays Belle – Emma said: "We actually have a group WhatsApp which invited everyone really from the main cast from ‘Harry Potter’ to come to the screening. It’s a case of trying to, like, get people into the right places, but yeah, everyone has been very supportive and I’m very supported by my old co-stars."
