Rufus Sewell and Kaya Scodelario to star in The Pale Horse

Rufus Sewell leads the cast for Agatha Christie’s ‘The Pale Horse’.
‘The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel’ actor joins a host of talent, including Kaya Scodelario, Bertie Carvel, Sean Pertwee, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeleine Bowyer and Claire Skinner for the production from BBC One, Mammoth Screen and Agatha Christie Limited.
‘The Pale Horse’ follows Sewell’s character Mark Easterbrook as he tries to uncover the mystery of a list of names found in the shoe of a dead woman. His investigation leads him to the peculiar village of Much Deeping, and The Pale Horse, the home of a trio of rumoured witches.
The two-part drama is being directed by Leonora Lonsdale and produced by Ado Yoshizaki Cassuto.
Filming has begun in and around the Bristol area for the show, which has been adapted from Christie’s book by Sarah Phelps.
