Britain's Duchess Catherine and Prince William knocked back whisky on their visit to Scotland today (29.05.14).
The royal couple carried out their first official engagement since returning from their tour of Australia and New Zealand a month ago as they arrived at the Famous Grouse Distillery, where they were handed a strong shot of Scotland's beloved national drink.
The Royal Correspondent for the Daily Mail newspaper, Rebecca English, wrote on Twitter: "Kate enjoyed several sips of the hard stuff including a 57.8 percent proof whisky that left her eyes watering. 'That's...errr..delicious."
Catherine - known as Kate Middleton before she married into the Royal Family - later had some gin as she and William arrived at Forteviot Fete, near Perth, and according to the Daily Express newspaper, she said: "I'd better not drink too much because of all the whisky I've had at Glenturret."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were created Earl and Countess of Strathearn when they wed in 2011 and this was their first visit to the area since.
The last time the pair visited Scotland was in April last year when they joined the Prince of Wales at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire to open a new outdoor centre.
Britain's Prince Harry supported his grandmother Queen Elizabeth at a special parade yesterday (28.05.14).
The 29-year-old royal joined other members of the royal family, including Princess Anne and Prince Edward, at the prestigious Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, London, where the 88-year-old monarch was the centre of attention.
Despite the rain, the family were in good spirits and the Queen attended the event with her 92-year-old husband, Prince Philip.
Ahead of the ceremony the couple were driven around the parade in a Bentley, rather than an open-top vehicle, and the prince then saluted at the start of the event, as Harry proudly watched his grandparents from the side.
The Queen smiled as she presented new standards to officers from the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals and Life Guards and praised the troops.
She said: "I have received so many complimentary so many complimentary remarks from visiting Heads of State, who have witnessed the excellence of tour turnout and horsemanship at close quarters.
"A generation of soldiers has now served within the single Regiment while successfully maintaining the traditions and separate identities of the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals."
According to Hellomagazine.com, she added: "The values and ethos of the Household Cavalry as a whole are embedded within the fabric of these Standards which are emblazoned with the hard-won honours of the past."
TV show 'I Wanna Marry Harry' will be aired in the UK.
The reality programme, which sees 12 American women try and win over a man they think is Britain's Prince Harry, premièred in the US last week and will now be shown on ITV2 in the UK from June 4.
The show stars Prince Harry lookalike Matthew Hicks, which has been given a course in etiquette, fine dining and horseback riding, to make sure he's convincing as the 29-year-old royal.
The female contestants will go on a series of dates with the flame-haired hunk and one girl will be eliminated each week until there is a final winner, who will believe she is being given the option to marry a real prince after winning his heart.
She will have to decide if she is really in love with the prince, or whether she just wanted to date him because of his royal blood.
The show is already popular in America, where it is aired on FOX, and Matthew's identity will only be revealed at the end of the show.
The programme's tagline reads: "Will he be able to convince them he's regal, and if he does, will they fall for the crown or fall in love with the real him?"
It is being produced by Ryan Seacrest and ZigZag Productions and was put into development last year under the title 'Dream Date'.
The real prince, who is now single after splitting from girlfriend Cressida Bonas, is yet to comment on the show.
Britain's Prince Harry will visit Suffolk today (29.05.14).
The 29-year-old royal, who attended the prestigious Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, London yesterday to support his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, will meet charity workers from Inspire Suffolk and take part in rugby and football coaching sessions with youngsters and talk to people taking part in The Prince's Trust Team Programme, before heading to the Suffolk Show.
Organisers of the annual agricultural event, held in Ipswich, claim the royal visit will be a "wonderful boost".
The prince will stop by the Farm Discovery Zone to meet young farmers before watching a Royal British Legion parade at the event, which attracts more than 80,000 visitors every years.
Show director Bill Baker told the BBC he hoped the prince's visit will held to appeal to young people to take an interest in farming and consider it as a future career.
He said: "The prince enjoys a strong public following and his visit is especially appreciated in a year when we are working to appeal to more young people at the show and presenting the kinds of careers available to them in the food and farming related industries."
The 29-year-old royal has close links to Suffolk, having been based at Wattisham Airfield during his time in the Armed Forces.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has spoken to a student at Sterling University about her visit to Scotland where pupils protested and heckled her in 1972.
The 88-year-old monarch met student Ben Butcher, 20, at a recent garden party at Buckingham Palace, where he was honoured for a project he did involving UK water pipes, and asked him: "Is Stirling still as wild as it was?"
He later told The Daily Mirror newspaper: "She said she's been there in the past and it's a little wild. I said, 'No, it's very tranquil, very beautiful."
During the 400-strong protest the Queen was booed and sworn at by drunk students who screamed at her to "go home".
The students were protesting about her visit, which had cost £1,200, as they felt the money should have been spent on paying for better facilities at the university.
The rally was the worst reception the monarch has ever received in Britain and 24 students were reportedly disciplined after the protest, with police describing the demonstrators' behaviour on October 12, 1972 as "disgusting".
Detectives from the Special Branch were forced to come to her aid and the mob was described in the national press as "frightening".
Actresses Dakota and Elle Fanning are reportedly distant cousins of Britain's Kate Middleton.
Researchers at Ancestry.com have found that the sisters, who were born in Georgia and have starred in a number of major films, may share blood with British royalty after looking through seven centuries of family trees.
The ancestry site claims the siblings are descendants of King Edward III, who ruled England for nearly 50 years from 1330 to 1376, through their mother Heather Joy (née Arrington), who is a retired professional tennis player.
Elle, 16, who plays Princess Aurora in Disney's 'Maleficent' and Dakota, 20, would therefore rank as 22nd great-grandchildren of King Edward III.
Michelle Ercanbrack, a family historian for the site, told People.com: "Generation after generation, the lines we looked at pieced back directly to King Edward III proving that Elle is a direct descendant of royalty. You can consider her a long-lost princess. This connection is so unique and rare."
If the researchers are correct it would mean King Edward I, also known as Longshanks, who is the grandfather of King Edward III, is an ancestral link between Kate Middleton and the Fannings.
The Duchess of Cambridge's mother, Carole Middleton, is also a granddaughter of King Edward III, which gives the stars another link to the family.
An Australian newspaper has decided to publish the controversial photograph of Britain's Duchess Catherine baring her bottom.
The Sydney Daily Telegraph ran the snap of Catherine showing off her bum after her skirt was blown up by the wind from a helicopter and claims it would be "ridiculous" to follow suit with Britain's media, who decided not to use the photograph.
A piece has been published in the newspaper, stating: "Why should the media stick to an antiquated code of etiquette when Kate doesn't bother to protect her own modesty?"
In the piece, writer Annette Sharp goes on to say: "Why would the cheeky French, German and American media, with no Commonwealth ties to Britain, be expected to honour such an antiquated code of etiquette? Why should the media be responsible for turning a blind eye when the royals aren't always vigilant about keeping themselves nice?"
Their decision to run the picture comes after German newspaper Bild used the image on their website, taken by celebrated photographer Diane Von Furstenberg, during Kate Middleton and Prince William's recent trip to Australia on a visit to the Blue Mountains near Sydney.
The feature states: "Photos show our favourite Duchess Kate, 32, in the Australian Blue Mountains. The rotor blades of the royal helicopter swirl the air so that Kate's summer dress blew up - giving a clear view of her beautiful bum!', the headline also reads: "Clothes ban for Kate?"
The image is situated next to images of Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe showing off their curves.
