Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy worries about appearance

Britain's Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy worries about her appearance.
The 29-year-old beauty - who dated the 30-year-old royal for seven years before they split in 2011 - has revealed that despite being in the public eye for so many years she still feels uncomfortable seeing pictures of herself in magazines and newspapers.
She said: "I do worry about what my face looks like and my physical appearance."
Chelsy - who is now single again after splitting from jeweller Charles Goode in January - revealed her insecurities while partying with DJ Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, who is the half-brother of Harry's most recent ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, in London.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Often I look in the mirror and think, 'Oh God! I don't look that great!' For a start I absolutely hate looking at photos of me. I cringe."
Meanwhile, the flame-haired prince was recently seen cosying up to 'Doctor Who' actress Jenna Coleman at the after-party for a charity polo match in Ascot, south east England.
A source shared: "Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor's tent. They sat alone and talked."
Harry's latest romance comes after it was reported he and Chelsy had rekindled their relationship earlier this year.
A source said: "Chelsy has always been the one for Harry. They might have been apart for a while, but they're a natural match and they've enjoyed seeing each other again. They're back on and seeing what happens."

Prince Harry pays tribute to fallen soldiers

Britain's Prince Harry paid tribute to those who lost their lives at war in Afghanistan at the Bastion Memorial Service yesterday (11.06.15).
The 30-year-old royal - who served two tours of Afghanistan himself - led a service to honour the 453 British men and women who died during the conflict at the inauguration of the memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
During an emotional speech, he said: "As we sit here amongst friends, we can take comfort in the knowledge that they gave their lives doing a job they loved, for a country they loved, and amongst mates who loved them dearly."
The memorial was blessed by the Archbishop of Canterbury at a commemoration service at St Paul's Cathedral in March and features the names of all personnel who died in the region as well as a cross made of shell casings from the original memorial wall in Camp Bastion.
The flame-haired prince added: "The names of the fallen shine in gold, as they do in our memories ... Every person who serves their country pays a price. For some it is a tie away from their families. Others pay the ultimate price."
Placing a wreath of poppies on the monument, he added: "The fathers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters named on this memorial, will forever be in our thoughts and prayers, as are those who miss them so dearly."
Harry also took time to speak to those who lost their loved ones and even fist bumped a young boy in attendance.

Duchess of Cornwall meets squealing piglet

Britain's Duchess of Cornwall met a squealing piglet while visiting an urban farm.
The 67-year-old royal visited the Jamie's Farm charity's new project located near London's Waterloo Station to hear about the work the organisation, for which she is a patron, do with vulnerable children who are struggling in or are in trouble at school.
Duchess Camilla met with children from local schools who have been working on the farm and was showed around a herb garden, where pupils have been growing mint, basil, parsley, thyme and oregano.
She said: "This looks wonderful. Are any of you into food or cooking and will you try to use this?"
The Duchess of Cornwall - who is married to Prince Charles, 66 - was then introduced to the farm's animals and was thrilled to meet one of the 12 piglets despite it squealing to be returned to its mother after it was lifted out of it's sty.
According to the Daily Express newspaper, she told a young boy: "The nice thing about animals is that you can just come down and work and talk to them when things get too much - although probably not this on as it's a bit noisy."

Lionel Richie dedicates song Hello to Prince William

Lionel Richie dedicated a song to Britain's Prince William at a charity event last night.
The 65-year-old star was performing at a dinner hosted by the charity Jewish Care at Alexandra Palace in north London last night (11.06.15) when he dedicated his hit song 'Hello' to the Duke of Cambridge and revealed his late mother, Princess Diana had once told him it was her favourite.
He said: "Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Princess Diana and tonight we have Prince William here.
"I must tell you it is a pleasure to be with all of you but especially this gentleman, because his mother came to me ... And she said, 'My favourite song is 'Hello''.
"So I thought tonight the dedication is to you, my friend."
The event also saw Prince William - whose mother Diana died in a tragic car crash in Paris in 1997 - pay tribute to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust.
He met with staff, volunteers and supporters who work with Jewish Care before taking to the stage to deliver a speech.
The charity looks after more than 7,000 people every week by caring for those with physical and sensory disabilities as well as those who have experienced a stroke or have Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Duchess Camilla has bought a racehorse

Britain's Duchess of Cornwall has bought a racehorse.
The 67-year-old royal has become a part owner of six-year-old mare Mollyanna after falling in love with the animal when it won the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall Mares Maiden Hurdle race at Sligo during her and her husband, the Prince of Wales' official visit to Ireland last month.
The horse, which is valued at approximately £25,000, is the latest addition to Duchess Camilla's stable of National Hunt runners.
Clarence House has confirmed that Mollyanna is now part-owned by the Duchess but refused to reveal who the other owners are.
The mare - which was purchased from Irish owner Bernard Cloney - is said to have been sent to trainer Jamie Snowden in Lambourn, Berkshire, the Daily Express newspaper reports.
While Prince Charles, 66, has bought horses for flat racing with his wife in the past, he leaves National Hunt racing - which requires horses to jump over fences and ditches - to her.
Camilla is said to have replaced the late Queen Mother as the royal family's main supporter of jump racing while the Queen herself is still a keen flat racing enthusiast and is expected to attend Royal Ascot next week.

Princess Beatrice attends fundraiser for London’s Garden Bridge

Britain's Princess Beatrice represented the royal family at a fundraiser for London's new Garden Bridge last night (10.06.15).
The 26-year-old royal joined celebrities including 'Absolutely Fabulous' actress Joanna Lumley and Virgin founder Richard Branson at the event in the Georgian Restaurant in Harrods.
The restaurant was transformed into an enchanted garden for the night and saw guests including Beatrice treated to a performance from 'Say You Love Me' singer Jessie Ware.
The fundraiser included a silent auction to raise money for the controversial new Garden Bridge which is inspired by the actress and campaigner Joanna and is intended to connect south and central London between South Bank and Temple.
Speaking about the project in the past, the 69-year-old star said it would "provide a quick and beautiful route for commuters [and] for dreamers a quiet place to linger among trees and grassed to look at the views".
Also in attendance at the event was Thomas Heatherwick, who has designed the initial plan for the bridge alongside Boris Johnson.

Princess Charlotte sleeping ‘through the night’

Britain's Princess Charlotte has been sleeping "through the night".
The one-month-old royal - who is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - has reportedly been "much easier" to look after than their first child, 23-month-old Prince George, because they've been managing to get some much needed shut-eye.
The Duke's father, Prince Charles, is said to have spoken about the newest addition to his family during a tea party with World War II veterans at Clarence House in London.
Geoff Bradley, who attended the luncheon, is reported by People magazine as saying: "He [Prince Charles] was saying Princess Charlotte does sleep through the night and it was much easier on mum than Prince George."
The news comes after Prince William, 32, revealed he and Duchess Catherine were suffering from sleepless nights because of their new born and her energetic older brother.
Steph Houghton - who is captain of the England women's soccer team and met William last month - said: "He was saying he's obviously really enjoying being a father and Princess Charlotte is actually keeping him up - and probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired."

Prince Harry marks countdown to Rugby World Cup

Britain's Prince Harry today (10.06.15) marked the start of the 100-day countdown to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The 30-year-old royal was joined by rugby stars Jonny Wilkinson and Will Greenwood as he kicked off the countdown to the sporting event, which is this year being held in England and Wales, by launching a trophy tour at Twickenham stadium.
He said: "This is a very exciting day - it is 100 days until the start of the Rugby World Cup. We are here today to send the Webb Ellis Cup around the country, giving rugby fans across the country the chance to play their part in the run up to the tournament."
Prince Harry made his speech in front of the few hundred fans who had assembled at the stadium while it was broadcast to crowds gathered in London's Piccadilly Circus.
The flame-haired royal added: "Rugby is a game of values. Respect, pride, teamwork, discipline. In 100 days' time at this incredible festival of rugby the best players, teams and fans will be demonstrating these values.
"As we have shown through the Olympics, the Common Wealth Games and the Invictus games, we are a nation of great hosts that seize the moment. The world will be expecting us to deliver. We will not disappoint. I have no doubt that the British public will make every nation feel at home and provide the best possible welcome to all 20 teams and the hundreds of thousands of fans coming to UK."
