Princess Beatrice dines with Jimmy Carr

Britain's Princess Beatrice dined with Jimmy Carr on Monday (29.06.15).
The 26-year-old royal met up with the 42-year-old comedian and his partner Karoline Copping at Mayfair, London, restaurant Roka, and wore the same grey and white dress as she wore just last week for a night out at LouLou's with her boyfriend Dave Clark.
Beatrice and Jimmy looked in good spirits as they left the eatery, which is described on its website as "London's award-winning Japanese, serving contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine in striking yet informal surroundings".
This isn't the first time that Beatrice has enjoyed the company of Jimmy, as she and her 31-year-old boyfriend often go on double dates in London with him and Karoline, and even holidayed in St Barts, along with footballer Jamie Redknapp and his wife Louise Redknapp earlier this year.
The cousin of the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, Beatrice has had a busy fortnight, partying at her sister Princess Eugenie's 11-hour 25th birthday party in Windsor and joining her mother the Duchess of York with her friend Manuel Fernandez at the Royal Ascot, and attended the lavish nuptials of Joseph Getty, the heir to the billion-pound Getty fortune, in Rome, this month too.

Prince Charles to show off Transylvanian house on BBC Radio 4

The Prince of Wales is opening the doors of his private house in Transylvania for a BBC Radio 4 series, 'On Your Farm'.
The radio show will visit Prince Charles' farm in Romania in a two-part special to be broadcast this summer, in which he will talk about why he thinks it's "so important" to preserve rural communities, as well as what the UK can learn from Eastern Europe. The two-part radio show will also see Duchy tenant farmers and other organisations in the UK talking about Charles's work on biodiversity and helping rural communities.
In a statement, BBC Radio 4 said: "He talks passionately about why he cares so much about preserving biodiversity and rural communities.
"He talks about why he thinks it is so important to preserve the rich meadows of Romania and create new ones in the UK, what we can learn from these Eastern European communities, and what should be done to preserve them."
Prince Charles has visited rural Romania regularly since his first trip there in 1998, and he has bought and renovated properties there to help protect the unique way of life that has existed for hundreds of years.
In 2006, the Prince decided to buy and restore an 18th century Saxon house in the Transylvanian village Viscri, a designated Unesco World Heritage Site, and in 2010, he purchased a property in the village of Zalanpatak which was founded four centuries ago as a glass manufacturing area in the heart of the forest.

Duke of Cambridge ‘thrilled’ for England Lionesses

Britain's Duke of Cambridge is "thrilled" for England Women's football team.
Prince William - who is president of the Football Association - has sent a message of support to the Lionesses after they won a place in the Women's World Cup semi-finals and revealed he "can't wait" for the match against Japan tomorrow (01.07.15).
In a statement, the Duke of Cambridge said: "Congratulations to both the English and Canadian teams for such a great game in the Women's World Cup quarter-finals.
"As president of the FA I'm thrilled to see the England women progress to the semi-finals for the first time. This team is making history and I can't wait to see them in action against Japan.
"I know a lot of people have been following the team's progress and I'm sure many more will now seize the chance to support this great moment for English football. The Lionesses are doing their country proud."
The Duke met the England squad at the end of May when they presented him with an England shirt for his Princess Charlotte, and he revealed his newborn daughter had been giving him "sleepless nights" at the time.
The England Lionesses captain Steph Houghton said: "He said George is very lively, and Princess Charlotte has been keeping him up all night, giving him a few sleepless nights. But he said he was just happy to have them both here."

Prince Harry: I’m doing my ‘dream’ job in Africa

Britain's Prince Harry has his "dream" job in Africa.
The 30-year-old royal is shadowing top veterinarian Dr. Pete Morkel in Namibia, Africa, in order to combat threats to endangered species.
Dr. Morkel is said to be an expert at using humane techniques to safely capture and relocate animals, often by helicopter, as well as being known for his anti-poaching strategies, and Harry will also spend time embedded with conservationists and frontline staff helping protect Africa's natural heritage in South Africa, Tanzania and Botswana, according to The Sun newspaper.
Prince Harry has previously said working with Dr. Morkel for even just three weeks would be a "dream".
Speaking to People.com, Harry said: "For me, it's three months of hard grafting, working with animals. To actually get the chance to embed myself with the top vet in southern Africa, travel with him for three weeks and every job he gets called up to do. That's like my dream."
Matt Brown, Africa conservation director of The Nature Conservancy, which supports Save the Rhino on the ground in Namibia has added how "grateful" the organisation is for Prince Harry's work.
In a statement, Matt said: "Black rhinos are being pushed to extinction by the illegal trade in rhino horn. Across Africa, rangers are outnumbered and outgunned by poachers.
"We're grateful that Prince Harry is bringing attention to this critically endangered species, and to this organisation that's very worthy of support."

Princess Charlene hosted Corsica water safety event

Princess Charlene of Monaco hosted a water safety event for children in Ponte Vecchio, Corsica on Monday (29.06.15).
The 37-year-old princess - who represented her native South Africa at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney - was joined by her husband Prince Albert II as she donned a wetsuit and chatted with children taking part in the workshops on Palombaggia Beach.
The event - which was organised by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the CEFSSA 40 - aimed to help teach youngsters the basics of water and sea-swimming safety, including learning basic first aid and awareness of their marine environment.
The royal - whose twins Gabriella Thérèse Marie and Jacques Honoré Rainier were baptised on May 11 - was seen wading into the Mediterranean Sea with her students and later hugging them and her husband Prince Albert on the beach.
Princess Charlene was teaching workshops alongside four-time free diving record holder, Pierre Frolla, and paddle board world champion Stéphanie Barneix.
The visit to Corsica comes ahead of the 10th anniversary of Albert's coronation, which took place on July 12, 2005, and, in an interview with Monaco-Matin, he insisted that he and his wife are in a good place.
Prince Albert said: "[The split rumors] are all the more lamentable because everything goes wonderfully well between Charlene and me. As you saw most recently, I was in Corsica with her and I don't think we give the impression of a couple who are torn apart."

Princess Charlotte’s christening details announced

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will hold Princess Charlotte's christening at the weekend.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with Prince George and Charlotte, will appear in public for the first time as a family of four on Sunday (05.07.15) at the ceremony, set to take place in Norfolk, and be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev Justin Welby, who will also give an address.
The public will be allowed into the paddock outside the church to get a glimpse of the royal family, something that William and Kate are "delighted" about.
According to the Mail Online, a spokesman at Kensington Palace said: "While the service inside the church will be private, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be pleased to welcome well-wishers into the paddock outside the church.
"The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received since Princess Charlotte's birth - many of them from local people in Norfolk - and are delighted the paddock can be opened on the day of the christening."
Guests at the christening will include the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Middleton family, as well as Charlotte's royal grandparents, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and her aunt and uncle Pippa and James Middleton. However, Prince Harry won't be in attendance, as he's in Africa working as a wildlife ranger.

The Queen told Lewis Hamilton off for bad manners

Britain's Queen Elizabeth told Lewis Hamilton off for his bad table manners.
The 30-year-old Formula 1 champion was invited to dine with Her Majesty, but has revealed that he was reprimanded for not knowing the correct protocol.
Lewis said: "I got invited to a lunch and was sitting next to The Queen. I was excited and started to talk to her but she said, pointing to my left, 'No, you speak that way first and I'll speak this way and then I'll come back to you.'"
Despite this telling off, Lewis went on to say that The Queen is "really cool".
Speaking on the 'The Graham Norton Show', Lewis said: "She is a sweet woman and we talked about how she spends her weekends, houses and music. She is really cool."
Society etiquette experts have explained how Lewis should have behaved when eating lunch with Her Majesty.
Speaking to The Telegraph online, a spokesman for Debrett's, the society etiquette experts, said: "The Queen would begin to speak to the person on her right, the guest of honour - for the duration of the first course.
"For the next course she would speak to the person seated to her left. This thus indeed means it is convention at a dinner party to speak to the guest seated to one's left before speaking to the one on the right - also with the Queen."

Prince Philip: I don’t like doctors

The Duke of Edinburgh doesn't like doctors.
94-year-old Prince Philip told medical student Bastian Rosner that he "wouldn't see any doctors at all" given the choice, during a walkabout in Berlin on Friday (26.06.15), as part of a four-day visit to Germany with the Queen.
When Bastian told him he was studying medicine at the nearby Charite University Hospital, Philip asked him: "Do you plan to treat patients after you have qualified?"
When he said he did, Prince Philip replied: "They all give you different opinions."
The trainee doctor was there with his partner Jan Onno Reiners and the couple said Prince Philip "didn't flinch" when they said they were boyfriends.
Speaking to the Sunday Express newspaper, Mr Rosner said: "I thought it was hilarious. He clearly doesn't trust doctors but he looks well on it."
The Queen and Prince Philip's visit to Germany has also seen the royal couple visit the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp to pay tribute to those who lost their lives there during the Second World War.
Her Majesty, who lived through World War II and was evacuated to Windsor Castle during the Blitz, was making her first visit to the Nazi camp and was accompanied by the Duke, who spent the war fighting with the Royal Navy.
During the visit, the Queen met with some of the Jewish survivors of the camp as well as men from the British VIII Corps which liberated Bergen-Belsen on the 15th April 1945.
