Prince Albert rubbishes marriage rumours

Monaco's Prince Albert has rubbished rumours of a rift between himself and his wife Princess Charlene.
The 57-year-old royal - who married his wife in 2011 and in December 2014 welcomed their twin babies, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques - has rebuffed suggestions that they're on the cusp of splitting.
He told French publication Nice Matin: "Everything is going wonderfully between Charlene and I.
"I was in Corsica with her ... and I don't think we looked like a couple on the verge of a break up."
Shortly after giving birth, Princess Charlene - who competed as a swimmer in the Olympics for South Africa - revealed she was a "bit overwhelmed with emotion".
She said: "At first, I was happy to hear their first cries. I was obviously a bit overwhelmed with emotion. Every second with them is magical. I look forward to spending more time in their presence.
"Watching them grow is wonderful. It changes lives forever."
The couple had their babies baptised in May, with well-wishers lining the streets to cheer them on and the ceremony broadcast to TV viewers in Monaco.

Eniola Aluko says Prince William is like ‘an old friend’

England soccer star Eniola Aluko has likened Britain's Prince William to an "old friend".
The 28-year-old forward recently helped her side claim third place at the Women's World Cup in Canada and has revealed that having met the 33-year-old prince both before and after the competition, they've struck up a good rapport.
She said: "We met the Prince just before we went to the World Cup and seeing him again was almost like catching up with an old friend."
The prince is a noted fan of the sport and recently admitted he'd like his own son, 23-month-old Prince George, to follow in his footsteps by supporting Aston Villa.
He shared: "The responsible thing would be to say, to let [George] make his own mind up, but I think I might be quite biased.
"I haven't quite worked out how to play that yet. Of course he can support whoever he wants, but if he supports Villa, it'd be fantastic. I'd love to go to the odd match with him in the future.
"It'll probably end up being that [Princess] Charlotte is the Villa fan and George will go and support someone else!"

Prince William jokes about London Underground stike

Britain's Prince William made a joke about strike action on the London Underground system during the Wimbledon tennis championships yesterday (08.07.15).
The 33-year-old royal, who attended the Centre Court alongside his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, responded to an announcement about industrial action by workers on the city's transport network by pretending to make a dash for the exit.
The prince's behaviour prompted laughter from his wife and other people sat in the Royal Box, which also featured retired soccer star David Beckham and William's cousin, Zara Phillips.
Meanwhile, Prince William recently reunited with his old Eton school friend Eddie Redmayne at a charity polo game, where the prince was competing and helping to raise money.
The royal was seen engaged in conversation with the award-winning performer - who played Professor Stephen Hawking in 'The Theory of Everything' - and his new wife Hannah Bagshawe.
The Hollywood star had previously described Prince William as a "lovely man".
He said: "I'm pretty sure Will was more intimidating than I was.

Cressida Bonas enjoys dinner date with mystery man

Cressida Bonas enjoyed a dinner date with a mystery man on Tuesday (07.07.15).
The 26-year- old star - who previously dated Britain's Prince Harry and has recently been linked with a reconciliation - was seen looking cosy at Le Caprice in Mayfair with her male friend, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
The sighting of Cressida alongside the unnamed man comes shortly after she enjoyed three days of partying at the Glastonbury music festival on Worthy Farm.
Prior to the festival, it was suggested that she and Prince Harry had reunited after initially deciding to end their relationship last year.
A report claimed the pair had been secretly dating for a number of weeks, but were not willing to make their romance public until they had no alternative.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was also linked to 'Doctor Who' actress Jenna-Louise Coleman, who he was seen chatting to at a recent charity polo match in London's Coworth Park.
An eyewitness said at the time: "From their body language it looked like they were really enjoying each other's company.
"Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor's tent.
"They sat alone and talked as things were winding up inside the party. It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning in to him and he had his hand on her knee.
"They were sitting very close, laughing lots and touching each other."

Prince Albert changes nappies

Prince Albert of Monaco is a hands-on father.
The 57-year-old royal - who welcomed his twin babies, Gabriella and Jacques, in December with his wife Princess Charlene - has revealed he takes a very active role in raising the newest members of his family.
He told the French publication Nice Matin: "When they wake up I try to spend time with them, playing little games ... I give them their bottles and change their nappies."
Meanwhile, it was revealed recently that the prince is writing a movie about his struggles to assemble Monaco's first bobsleigh team in 1986, despite the disapproval of his father Prince Ranier, then-ruler of the principality.
The royal - who competed in five Olympic games in two-man and four-man bobsleigh between 1988 to 2002 - said: "It's a very unique and personal story."
Sergei Bespalov, the co-chairman of his production company Aldamisa, added in a statement: "This is the first royal fairy tale which tells the true story of a sitting monarch, where the human drive for achievement becomes a battle with one's own limits, amplified by the constraints of royal duties."

Prince Charles turns on the charm in Wales

Britain's Prince Charles has been charming the locals in the Welsh town of Wrexham.
The 66-year-old royal and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, have been meeting and greeting people in the town as part of their five-day tour of the country.
As part of the tour, Prince Charles visited Wern Isaf house in Llanfairfechan and was suitably impressed by the Grade II listed building, with local councillor Andrew Hinchliff telling the Daily Post newspaper: "The Prince had hoped to keep his visit to Wern Isaf private, but then later decided to make it public.
"The Institute is a stunning building, but we do need a lot more people using it, hopefully Prince Charles's visit will help give us a boost."
Meanwhile, the prince and his wife both poured pints at Denbighshire's Raven Inn at Llanarmon-yn-lal, where they took the time to stop and chat to some of the locals.
Bairmaid Denise Dugan said: "It is the social centre of the village along with the chapel. It's where most people come."
Earlier this week, Prince Charles met members of the English and Australian cricket teams ahead of the Ashes series, which started in Cardiff earlier today (08.07.15).

Channing Tatum recalls embarrassing meeting with Prince William

Channing Tatum swore "25,000 times" in front of Britain's Prince William.
The 35-year-old Hollywood star - who appears in 'Magic Mike XXL' - has revealed that during a meeting with the royal, he accidentally dropped an F-bomb and other expletives.
He told Britain's GQ magazine: "I could not have sounded dumber in my entire life if I tried.
"I mean, I cussed like 25,000 times. I said the F-bomb. I couldn't remember stuff. It was so embarrassing. It was a nightmare."
Meanwhile, Channing also revealed he's developed a passion for sculpting because there is "zero responsibility" to clay.
He shared: "I just thought I could do it, for some reason. You know, I think I can understand how to do that. Like, can I do a back flip? Yeah, I think I can. And I don't know why, but I just knew I could.
"The nice thing about clay is I have zero responsibility to it. It doesn't care if I ever finish it. It's clay. It doesn't care if it's any good. You can smash it when you're done and it doesn't matter. I don't need to make a living off it. Make fun of it and it doesn't matter... It's clay."
