Britain’s Prince of Wales increasingly proud of charity

Britain's Prince of Wales is growing "increasingly proud" of his charity PRIME Cymru.
The founder of the fund - which supports those aged over 50 to find employment - praised the long-serving mentors, who have "done such fantastic work over the years".
Speaking at the 2015 PRIME Cymru awards in Aberystwyth , he said: "I'm increasingly proud of what PRIME Cymru is managing to achieve...and what I wanted to do today as well, is to recognise those marvellous mentors who have done such fantastic work over all the years, many of who have and still been with us really quite a long time now, and without whom nothing would actually be achieved."
Britain's Prince of Wales recently presented the Green Business award to a man who rescues horses.
Sid Smallman, who set up Phoenix Horse Logging, where he safeguards the animals before training them, started the project with the help of Prince Charles' fund.
Commenting on the work of his charity Charles added: "This sort of gathering provides us with an opportunity just to remember that a person over the age of 50 is five times more likely to be made redundant and is eight times less likely to find alternative employment than a person in the 18 to 30 age group, and that's not generally, I think, understood or recognised."

The 40-year-old food critic went onto to say how he 'couldn't" do the duties his mother has to do every day.
He admitted "My mother was a mother she didn't really work apart from bringing us up which a job in itself but at an age where lots of people are thinking of retiring so is having up to 20 or 30 engagements a day and she's brilliant at it - she has always been brilliant with people."

Britain’s Prince George’s clothes inspired by Princess Diana

Britain's Duchess of Cambridge's favourite designer, Rachel Riley was inspired by Princess Diana.
The award-winning clothesmaker - who created two-year-old Prince George's outfit for his sister, Princess Charlotte's christening on July (05.07.15) - has revealed she thought the late Princess Diana - mother of Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry - "had a great sense of style" and dressed her sons in "clothes appropriate for children".
Rachel said: "I look at old pictures of William and Harry as boys because the outfits are beautiful and a wonderful inspiration. Princess Diana had a great sense of style. She was a nursery teacher so was a natural with children and knew how to dress them. She dressed William and Harry in clothes that are appropriate for children."
The entrepreneur complimented Diana on how she "wore everything so well" and for "understanding the need for the Princes [Harry and William] to be properly dressed".
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "They were comfortable and classic and, being from a traditional family, I think Diana understood the need for the Princes to be properly dressed. Diana loved fashion and she wore everything so well."

Britain’s Prince of Wales hosts garden party with stars

Britain's Prince of Wales hosted a garden party in Tetbury, England for The Prince's Countryside Fund.
The Duke of Cornwall attended the event at Highgrove House on Friday (24.07.15) to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the charity, which has given over £6 million in grants to 135 projects benefiting 160,000 people living and working in rural communities, since 2010.

He said: "I am thrilled that as a result of the fund being set up we've managed to support over 2,500 rural enterprises to start up or grow; 5,000 farm businesses to improve their profitability; over 300 rural communities with the provision of community owned pubs, shops and other services; and my Pub is the Hub organisation trying to save all these rural pubs from disappearing - that's another aspect of what the fund has been able to support ..."
Prince Charles was greeted with a homemade cake with the words "Happy 5th Birthday" iced on it, designed and baked by Fiona Cairns, who also made the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wedding cake.

Britain’s Prince William’s aircraft tracked

Britain's Prince William's helicopter reportedly sparked a security alert after a mobile phone app tracked his aircraft.
According to a claim by The Mail on Sunday newspaper, the application, which could be purchased for £2.99, followed the movements of the Duke of Cambridge as he left Cambridge Aiport, on his East Anglian air ambulance.
It was reported that journalists were able to show exactly where William was going and even posted photos of the Prince preparing to land.
It's also believed if you paid more you were sent a text alert every time he uses the aircraft.
Air safety expert Christopher Yates doesn't see it as "a problem" because "we don't know from one day to the next if he's going to be on board".
He told The Associated Press: "Most of the time when an air ambulance is called it appears on the scene, scoops someone up and disappears. If there were someone monitoring, the chance of them being there at the scene when he arrives is quite remote. And we don't know from one day to the next if he's going to be on board. So I don't see a problem."
However, after it became a major risk, the app 'flightradar24' has since been stopped.
Buckingham Palace and The Metropolitan Police are yet to comment on the app.
