Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s normal holidays

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have normal holidays.
A Beverly Hills designer - who created Kim Kardashian West's wedding earrings - met the Duchess Catherine and Prince William, while also holidaying in a resort on the island of Mustique in the Caribbean and was amazed how they were "human like everybody else, dressing to fit in".
Martin Katz told People magazine: "They were lovely and they couldn't be more present.
"I think what struck me was that they were human like everybody else, dressing to fit in like everybody else."
He also noticed that Catherine wasn't wearing makeup and "looked lovely" and would talk to anyone who wanted to speak with her.
He said: "Kate looked very casual, she wasn't particularly wearing makeup, she looked lovely.
"She just couldn't be more gracious and talked to everybody who would talk to her. It wasn't like she was working the room, but if someone wanted to speak to her, she was happy to speak."
The designer also revealed an embarrassing moment, when he spilled his drink over the Prince's feet, who was wearing flip-flops.
He recalled: "While I was talking, I was holding a glass of fruit punch and it slipped from my hand and crashed to the floor and sprayed all over the Prince's feet. He was in flip-flops."
However, William cracked a joke.
He added: "I was mortified of course, but all I heard was, 'That was quite refreshing, thank you'."

Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge wants three children

Britain's Duchess of Cambridge wants "at least three children".
According to source close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - who have two children two-year-old son, Prince George and three-month-old daughter, Princess Charlotte - are still looking to expand their family and "definitely" haven't decided to stop at two.
An insider told the Daily Express newspaper: "Kate is one of three and is very close to her sister Pippa and brother James. Although the Cambridges already have a boy and a girl they haven't definitely decided to stop there. They both benefited from growing up with siblings who were close in age. Of course Charlotte is still only a baby but in a year's time, who knows?"
Betting shop Coral have odds of 6/4 on the royal couple announcing the arrival of their third child by 2016 and 2/1 on it arriving in 2017.
While, Joe Crilly of William Hill said: "If they want another, we think it will be sooner rather than later."
Meanwhile, Prince William has decided he wants to focus on his family before his role in the monarchy and according to reports his father Prince Charles supports his decision.
A source added: "People forget that William is second-in-line to the throne, not the heir apparent. While he knows all too well the importance of his role in the monarchy, he has no desire to supersede his father.
"Prince Charles fully supports William's decision to put his family first. He wants William to be the best possible father he can be."

Britain’s Prince Charles’ saving planet for grandchildren

Britain's Prince of Wales wants to protect the environment for his grandchildren.
Prince Charles was on a trip to Transylvania to help the rural communities by setting up a scheme to help people market their native and self-produced products.
He said the reason for his continued support and involvement in the project is because he cares about "the future of your grandchildren as well as mine".
The heir to the throne - who has two grandchildren, two-year-old Prince George and three-month-old Princess Charlotte - told the BBC: "That's entirely why I'm trying to do all this, is that I mind about the future for your grandchildren as well as mine and lots of other people's."
Talking about places like Romania where people still use manual farming methods such as using horses to transport food, Prince Charles believes that's "true sustainability and complete resilience" and he thinks smaller farmers play an integral role in the "maintenance of food security".
He continued: "where we see true sustainability and complete resilience. I happen to think the small farmer, the smallholder, is absolutely crucial to the maintenance of food security.
"It can't all be done by gigantic corporations, agribusinesses. Some of them try, but a lot of them are not interested in biodiversity or culture or rural communities."
He added: "We witnessed in the UK the depopulation of the countryside, the disappearance of so many family farms, the effect it's had on the countryside, the wildlife, everything."

Britain’s Prince Harry confronts African poachers

Britain's Prince Harry has already confronted three poachers in South Africa.
The 30-year-old heir to the throne arrived at Kruger Park game reserve last week and has joined the war on criminals for the government's anti-poaching campaign called Operation Corona. Maj Gen Jooste greeted the Prince when he arrived and he said they will do everything they can to "try to keep him safe" but they do intend to go to war and "win it".
He told The Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Harry will be with me for quite some time. We'll try to keep him safe. This is a declaration of war against South Africa by armed foreign criminals. We are taking the war to these armed bandits and we aim to win it."
During his first week, Harry has reportedly seen off three poachers, including one shoot-out which left one of the criminals injured and therefore, more than likely preventing the unlawful killing of animals.
Peter Chadwick, a South African conservationist also said that he wouldn't be "surprised" if Prince Harry has been working as a pilot.
He said: "This is counter-insurgency, an actual war that they are fighting. I know of Prince Harry's involvement with the anti-poaching unit in Kruger and I know the situation there is no fun and games. You don't get a chance to sit down and reason with these guys over a cup of tea.
"It's all about rapid response and that's where the helicopters come in. I wouldn't be surprised if Harry was doing some piloting."
Harry is expected to be in South Africa for at least three months.

Britain’s Prince Harry texts Jenna Coleman

Britain's Prince Harry has been texting 'Doctor Who' star Jenna Coleman.
The flame-haired Prince reportedly made time to message the British actress while on his three-month expedition, saving endangered animals in Africa and a close source thinks a "proper date" could be an option once Harry returns to England from his charity work.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Harry must be keen on Jenna to be staying in touch with her, despite all his tireless charity work.
"They seem to really get along so a proper date could be on the cards when he returns . . . "
Prince Harry and the 29-year-old brunette - who was in a relationship with Scottish actor Richard Madden - were first spotted together back in June when they were caught flirting at a Polo party at Coworth Park, Ascot.
However, Kensington Palace denied the pair were romantically linked at the time.
A party-goer at the Polo bash previously shared: "From their body language it looked like they were really enjoying each other's company.
"Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor's tent.
"They sat alone and talked as things were winding up inside the party. It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning into him and he had his hand on her knee."
The heir to the throne has been single since September 2014 after going separate ways from his long-term model girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

‘Aloof’ Prince Charles talks dogs

Britain's Prince Charles appeared "aloof" when he met an expert dog trainer.
Roy Dyer of Brentwood, Essex, admits the royal heir was a bit distant when he met him and wife Duchess Camilla at the 134th Sandringham Flower Show - but did show interest in his work.
He told the Brentwood Gazette: "Prince Charles was OK, he is a little bit aloof but he was very interested in what we did and where we did it.
"The Duchess of Cornwall said, 'I have met these people before, I went to their training centre.' There's no nerves because she came towards me and said, 'It's so good to see you again.'
"I thought that's so nice. It was quite touching, of all the people she meets worldwide she clearly remembers me and we had a good chat about dogs."
Roy was recently appointed an MBE for his services to dogs and the community, so it's not his first brush with the royal family.
He added: "I have actually met every one of the Royal Family at royal tournaments.
"We did 28 displays at royal tournaments and at each event we were present with a different member."

Royals blasted by Birmingham MP

Britain's royal family have been branded a 'waste of money' by a Birmingham MP.
Roger Godsiff, the Labour MP for Birmingham Hall Green, has hit out at the monarchy following claims taxpayers fork out an eye-watering £334 million a year to fund their lives.
According to the Birmingham Mail, he said: "This is a huge amount of public money to waste on what is essentially a tourist attraction."
The politician said it wasn't justifiable to hand over millions to "a tiny group of super-wealthy individuals" while constituents in Birmingham struggle to make ends meet.
He added: "As a country, how can we continue to pay these sums to a tiny group of super-wealthy individuals, even as we cut the services ordinary people rely on to survive?
"I know from my constituents how much they are struggling with the rising cost of living. Why should they have to subsidise the royal family's ridiculous lifestyles and undemocratic set of privileges?"
The MP has called on the government to abolish funding so much money to the royal family.
He said: "I believe that we need a UK where all citizens are equal and hereditary privilege has been abolished. Everyone should have the same start in life, and no one should be able to live a life of massive luxury and extravagance which is funded by hard-working taxpayers."

Zara Phillips is ‘still wild’

Zara Phillips is still the family 'wild child', her father has joked.
Captain Mark Phillips -- who was married to Princess Anne -- made the quip in a joint interview with the 34-year-old, prompting Zara to insist she's not that wild.
She told The Times: "I don't know if I was that wild. I guess it looked like that because of my family background. I'm sure that is what it's probably compared to."
Athlete Zara is married to rugby player Mike Tindall, with whom she has 19-month-old daughter Mia Grace.
In the same interview, Mark revealed he is still close to his royal ex-wife, who continues to support his Festival of British Eventing. Mark and Princess Anne were divorced in 1992.
He said: "When we started the festival in 1982, she and I were both still competing and we wanted to set up something here and give something back to the sport.
"I don't think we understood we would still be doing it 33 years later. Obviously the princess and I did it together originally, but she has been supportive ever since."

Prince Andrew visits BBC studios

Britain's Prince Andrew has visited the new BBC News Asia studios during a trip to Singapore.
The 55-year-old royal paid a special visit to the premises today (07.08.15) and was given a tour of the new state-of-the-art facilities.
He noted on Twitter: "Impressive new studio @BBCnewsasia with @ricohizon & Sharanjit Leyl #SG50 (sic)"
It seems the visit was a big success as the BBC News Asia Twitter account responded to the Duke of York, saying it was a "pleasure" to host the royal.
They wrote: "It was our pleasure having you! Hope you guys will still be able to enjoy Singapore despite the rain!"
Andrew is in Singapore to mark celebrations for the country's 50th year of independence.
Yesterday, the royal marked another special occasion - posting a 'Throwback Thursday' photo of daughter Princess Beatrice when she was just two weeks old.
The sweet picture, shared on Facebook, was posted as Beatrice prepares to celebrate her 27th birthday on August 8.
