Duchess Catherine returns to royal duties

Britain's Duchess of Cambridge is set to return to royal duties after four months maternity leave.
The mother-of-two has had time off following the birth of Princess Charlotte, in May and has enjoyed time with the newborn and two-year-old son, Prince George whilst at their home in Ammer Hall, out of the public eye while, husband Prince William has been busy working at East Anglian Air Ambulance as a pilot.
Duchess Catherine will make her first official engagement on September 17 when she will visit the Anna Freud Centre as her involvement with children's mental health charities gets underway, as reported by HELLO! magazine.
The 33-year-old Princess previously released a statement via Kensington Palace about how William and herself intend to "play a part" in the improvement of mental health services and to address the issues in order to "benefit young people".
Duchess Catherine wrote: "I feel strongly that young people and parents need to know that they can ask for help. Just as with physical health, we need to act early to provide support when a child is faced with emotional difficulties.
"This is a discussion that William and I hope to play a part in during the months and years to come. We welcome all work to highlight this important issue for the benefit of all our young people."
The following day (18.09.15) Prince William and his wife will join brother Prince Harry at the grand opening of the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham, London England, one of many royal engagements planned for Catherine this autumn.

Prince Harry 31st flypast birthday celebrations

Britain's Prince Harry will celebrate his 31st birthday at Goodwood for the Battle of Britain 74th anniversary flypast.
Kensington Palace has shared how Prince Harry will be making an appearance at the special event on September 15 via social media.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news in a series of tweets:
"Prince Harry to join @endeavourfund scholars during a #BoB75 Anniversary flypast @boultbeeacademy on 15 Sep (sic)."
"Flypast will bring more BoB aircraft together since #WW2, as a show of thanks from this generation to 'The Few (sic)'".
It also marks Harry's return to royal duties after spending three-month in Africa catching poachers in a jungle.
The Prince will love the days events as a military enthusiast as it sees more Battle of Britain planes in one place since World War II.
There will be about 40 Spitfire and Hurricane jet fighters and Blenheim light bombers from the U.K., the U.S. and Europe taking part in the fly-past.
Last year, the Royal had the chance to go in a Spitfire, according to People magazine, but it's not known if he will on his birthday.

Queen Elizabeth’s waxwork gets new gown

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II's Madame Tussauds waxwork gets a new dress to mark being the longest-serving monarch.
The British royal's replica - which features the gown she wore in 2012 for her official Diamond Jubilee photographs - was created by four workers from Tussauds' in-house team, who spent 150 hours sewing 53,000 Swarovski crystals on to the white and silver lace dress.
A spokesman for the London waxworks said: "The Queen is our most modelled likeness. It started when she was a little girl and was modelled on a rocking horse."
On Wednesday (09.09.15) Queen Elizabeth precedes the record set by her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria who reigned for 23,226 days, 16 hours and 23 minutes, according to Buckingham Palace.
The Madame Tussauds representative shared that the wax model represents the relationship between the museum and the Queen.
They continued: "It's all part of the celebrations marking Madame Tussauds' relationships with Her Majesty the Queen as she becomes the longest-reigning monarch."
As well as the new dress, visitors will also notice a blue Order of the Garter sash and star and on its head is a replica of the diamond George IV state Diadem.

Prince Harry’s chances of getting Chelsy Davy back

Britain's Prince Harry would have to make "a lot of promises" to win Chelsy Davy back.
The British royal reportedly met up with his ex-Zimbabwean socialite girlfriend while out in Africa last month, and now a close friend has revealed that if the pair were to start dating again, the Prince would have to consider making changes to their life because Chelsy has "no interest" in living a life in the spotlight and could "never" see herself as a "member of the Royal family".
A friend close to the couple told the Daily Mail newspaper: "But they have both matured a great deal since they last dated, so who knows? However, I think Harry would have to make a lot of promises about how their life would be."
They continued: "The royal wedding was a wake-up call for Chelsy. It highlighted how she didn't fit in with Harry's family or the life that is already mapped out for him."
"Chelsy is a very strong woman and a real free spirit. While lots of girls dream of being a princess, she has no interest in that kind of life at all. She said she could never, ever see herself as a member of the Royal Family."
However, despite saying she "saw no future" in their relationship, according to the family friend the couple have "always been in touch" and are still "incredibly fond of each other".
The insider added: "Chelsy finally decided to call it quits with Harry. She told him that she saw no future in the two of them being together. They have always been in touch and are incredibly fond of each other, although Chelsy swore she would never go back there."

Prince William’s packed lunch plea

Prince William reportedly takes sandwiches to work at the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
It's emerged that Britain's Duke of Cambridge takes his own food while working at the Cambridge base as their fridge recently broke down and they took to social media asking the public to donate a new cooler to keep their dinner's fresh.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance Service wrote on Twitter: "Oh no! The fridge at our Cambridge base has broken down and needs replacing.
"We're looking for someone to donate a new standard under-counter fridge.
"Please comment below or email [email protected]."
Several sources have contacted Kensington Palace to suggest the Royal family should pay for a new fridge, however they have declined to comment.
All the money Prince William makes from working for the service goes to charity.
Meanwhile, William's work recently involved flying on his Air Ambulance to a Suffolk prison where medics treated a prisoner for a seizure and the royal had to have four prison security guards and his own protection officer, while he waited by his helicopter after landing in the grounds of HMP Highpoint in Suffolk.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The helicopter landed a few yards outside the main gate and four prison staff immediately surrounded it to offer Prince William greater protection.
"Lots of people came out of their houses to see what was going on but the staff kept them well away from him."

Duchess Camilla loves Doc Martin

Britain's Camilla Duchess of Cornwall is a fan of 'Doc Martin'.
Martin Clunes - who plays the outspoken doctor Martin Ellingham in the ITV drama series - has revealed that the royal watches his show, but it's filmed in Cornwall so he thinks she has a "vested interest".
He told The Sun newspaper: "I know that Camilla is a fan, but she is the Duchess of Cornwall, so she has a vested interest."
The 53-year-old actor also recalled meeting Britain's Queen Elizabeth II who he spoke about his animals to and was overcome when she remembered six-months-later to ask about his foal, which he showed her a picture of.
He recalled: "I've met the Queen a few times.
"Once I was so nervous, I showed her a picture on my phone of a foal from my farm. She was interested, obviously, she is the queen of horses, and when I saw her six months later, she asked how it was. I couldn't believe she remembered."
The wife of Prince Charles appears to be a TV addict, as her son Tom Parker-Bowles recently shared that his mother enjoys Australian food show 'Hotplate'
Tom previously said: "She started watching just after dinner when we were down in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago and carried on watching all the way through. She said she was addicted."

Alan Carr’s dream royal guests

Alan Carr wants Britain's Prince Harry or Princess Catherine on 'Chatty Man'.
The British comedian returns with his 15th series of his award-winning chat show and when asked who his dream guests would be, the funnyman went for royalty and joked that the Duchess of Cambridge is a fan of We Love TV magazine, and should come on the Channel 4 show because they have "working crèche" facilities and when he's not making people laugh he is the male version of a nanny: a "manny".
Alan told the Daily Mirror newspaper: I've always wanted royalty on the show - Prince Harry or Kate Middleton, our future queen. And I know she reads We Love TV so, Your Majesty, please do come on Chatty Man. We have a wonderful working crèche and in my spare time I'm a fully-qualified manny."
While he hasn't got round to securing royal guests, Alan did share who has lined up for the forthcoming series, which begins on Friday (11.09.15).
He said: "Well, I can reveal that in the first episode we've got actor Tom Hardy talking about his latest movie Legend, based around the Kray brothers. And singer Demi Lovato is also on."

Queen Elizabeth ‘business as usual’ marking longest-serving monarch

Queen Elizabeth II's to "convey business as usual" as she marks being Britain's longest-serving monarch.
The 89 year old reportedly only agreed to celebrate reaching the milestone due to pressure from the public, however she has agreed to "acknowledge it as an historic moment" on Wednesday (09.09.15).
A royal source told The Strait Times:"You need to remember for the Queen this is a date whose calculation rests on the death of her father and great-great grandmother. That naturally colours the way she sees it.
"While she acknowledges it as a historic moment, it's also for her not a moment she would personally celebrate, which is why she has been keen to convey business as usual, and no fuss."
The Queen is expected to travel on a steam train in Scotland to open a new railway line and will host a dinner party at Balmoral Castle with grandson Britain's Prince William and Princess Catherine attending, as she preceeds her grandmother Queen Victoria as the longest server to the royal family.
To mark the occasion, Buckingham Palace have produced a photo display of the monarch's reign and Royal Mint have will release a silver £20 coin with the five different official portraits from 1952 to now.

Prince Harry close to Chelsy Davy again

Britain's Prince Harry is close to ex Chelsy Davy again.
The heir to the British throne reportedly met up with Chelsy - who he had an on-off relationship with from 2004 to 2010 - while on his expedition saving animals in Africa last month and an insider reckons "Chelsy has his heart" still, but she doesn't want to "commit yet" because she is afraid of a "life in the spotlight".
A friend of Harry told The Sun newspaper: "Harry still holds a candle for her. Chelsy has his heart.
"They saw each other recently. There's still very much something between them, but Chelsy won't commit yet because she doesn't want to lead a life in the spotlight. Harry's very sensitive to that."
It's also believed to be "no coincidence" that Harry, 30, decided to work in Africa as Chelsy, 29, is originally from Zimbabwe and plans to head back out there in November.
And the fact he has "never fallen out of love" with his former girlfriend who is "strong and independent" and "does everything on her own terms".
A source added: "It's no coincidence that Harry decided to spend more time in Africa later this year.
"He has never fallen out of love with Chelsy. She's not like other girls; she's strong, independent and a rule-breaker. She does everything on her own terms."
Both Harry and Chelsy are single, as the Prince broke up with Cressida Bonas in April of last year and Chelsy ended her relationship with former beau Charles Goode earlier this year.
Kensington Palace refused to comment.
