Prince William not confident in Aston Villa

Britain's Prince William thinks Liverpool Football Club will beat his team Aston Villa in Saturday's (26.09.15) match.
The avid Villa supporter chatted to ex-Army soldiers yesterday (23.09.15) in Manchester and Andy Walton, a former Royal Engineer, revealed the prince moaned that Liverpool "stole" their best player.
They signed striker Christian Benteke in a £32.5million deal last summer and Andy - who is a LFC fan - said the prince confessed his doubts about Aston Villa's chances against the rivals.
Andy said: "I was having a lot of banter with him about the football. We have got them this Saturday. He was saying 'you stole our best player but I think you will win this Saturday'."
Prince William and his brother Prince Harry were in Manchester with the BBC's 'DIY SOS' team on 'The Big Build: Veteran's Special' and helped to renovate a street of derelict houses into homes for ex-service personnel.
The heir apparent put his painting skills to the test but Andy revealed that Prince Harry was not impressed.
Andy recalled: "He (Harry) said, 'You can tell which part my brother has done because it's not very good.' He said he will paint over it and painted over what William had done."
He added: "It was cracking. I found William very talkative".

Princes help on DIY project was ‘amazing’

Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry were thanked for their "amazing" efforts by war heroes who they helped to build homes.
The 33-year-old Duke of Cambridge and his younger brother Prince Harry, 31, joined TV presenter and handyman Nick Knowles and a group of ex-soldiers as they worked to rebuild 62 homes in a Manchester street yesterday (23.09.15).
Ex-Army officer Paul Murphy served with the Second Battalion Royal Irish Rangers and said: "It was beautiful. It's amazing, I think it gives everyone a reward for doing this."
Paul, 47, now owns a scaffolding company and described how people from all areas of the community worked on the project with the royals for free.
He told The Daily Mirror: "It's nice to give something back - they have all been doing, for nothing, companies all putting in their own time, people just walking off the streets to help.
"It's a bit of a reward to see the Royals here. Well played to them as well."
BBC presenter Nick added that it gave people working on the project "a boost" to see the princes mucking in.
He said: "It's been really lovely. They both served in the army they understand. They gave the boys on the site a boost."

Prince Harry back with Cressida

Britain's Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are reportedly dating once again.
The news that the 31-year-old royal's relationship with the pretty actress, 26, is back on, will break the hearts of women everywhere, but has delighted Cressida's parents.
A source close to the couple revealed: "They're excited to see each other again."
"Cressida's mum Lady Mary and dad Jeffrey both embraced Harry like he was a son and they're being very supportive."
The pair first got together in May 2012 after meeting through the prince's ccousin Princess Eugene.
But their love turned sour when embarrassing pictures emerged of the royal partying in Las Vegas naked with another women.
Cressida - who has "her own mind" - temporarily broke romantic ties with Prince Harry but they reunited when he returned from a four-month-stint in Afghanistan and were spotted kissing at a ski resort in Verbier in February the following year.
And Cressida - who recently ended her relationship with actor Edward Holcroft, 27 - has the support of her family when it comes to dating the flame-haired royal.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "They'd love to see Harry back in Cressida's life but know she is her own woman and will make her own decisions."

James Middleton dumps Donna Air

The Duchess of Cambridge's brother James Middleton has broken up with Donna Air.
The 28-year-old businessman left the former TV presenter "heartbroken" and abruptly ended their relationship after dating for two years, because he didn't believe they could "go the distance" together.
A source close to the couple revealed: "The split happened a couple of weeks ago and it was James' decision. Poor Donna. She's more than a little bit heartbroken.
"But he just didn't think it was going to go the distance."
The couple met in February 2013 at Robin Birley's private members' club in London.
Though Donna, 36, was apparently unaware of James' misgivings and recently spoke about her love for Princess Kate's brother in an interview due out this weekend.
The blonde beauty was due on the cover of You magazine with the headline that read: "Mr Middleton and Me. Actress Donna Air on life with our future queen's little brother."
What's more, James' family reportedly didn't back the couple as an item and wern't keen on the pretty blonde being the future monarch's in-law.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "I think his family were always very anti her being the future Queen of England's sister-in-law."
It's not known whether You magazine will now change the cover or re-word the headline to omit any reference to Donna's former flame.

Princes’ personalised hard hats

Britain's Prince Harry and Prince William got their names emblazoned on hard hats yesterday (23.09.15)
The royal brothers were gifted with the personalised head gear as they assisted as extra labour on a construction project to build 62 homes for soldiers who had returned from working in the Armed Forces.
The princes showcased their do-it-yourself (DIY) skills alongside the BBC's DIY SOS team for a special episode of their make-over series.
Kensington Palace took to social media to upload pictures of the day as the project unfolded and showed support for the boys.
They captioned a picture of the princes: "Canada St #Manchester will feature new homes and a support centre run by @supportthewalk @PoppyLegion #DIYSOSVeterans (sic)"
The palace later wrote : "Thanks to everyone involved with @DIYSOS in #Manchester! Good luck for the final stages of the build #DIYSOSVeterans (sic)".
William, 33, used a roller to paint walls whilst a bearded Harry, 31, layed paving slabs.
The homes are for servicemen and women and long-standing residents of the street i Twenty-six houses are being set aside for veterans.
It's hoped that the scheme will help the men and women who have fought in war make a smooth transition to civilian life.

Prince William laughs at ‘dirty’ story

Britain's Prince William enjoyed a "dirty" story at a Battle of Britain event in Lincolnshire yesterday (22.09.15).
The heir apparent was entertained with a tale from former Spitfire pilot Ken Wilkinson, who flew in the fight that was held in the skies over England 75 years ago.
According to The Evening Standard newspaper, Ken chatted to the Duke of Cambridge before he confessed: "I'm under instruction not to tell dirty stories".
But an unabashed William insisted the war veteran should tell his tale.
Ken recalled the story of a man named Joe who became the "captain" of his local golf club and insisted on only being referred to by his new title.
After a celebratory dinner to mark his new position, the man goes home, undresses and gets into bed with his wife, announcing himself as "the captain".
The wife said: "You have to be quick - Joe will be home soon!"
After the verteran amused the prince with his bold tale the pair chatted about the aircraft used during World War II.
Ken was keen to hear whether Prince William had flown a Spitfire. The prince said: "My brother's been up in one and I'm dying to do it."
William, 33, later took a 45-minute flight in a Chipmunk training aircraft arranged by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The day formed part of the 75th anniversary commemoration of the Battle of Britain, which took place from July to October 1940, and saw Britian beat Hitler's Luftwaffe.

Princess Charlotte waits for a dress

Britain's Princess Charlotte will wear dresses when she learns how to walk.
The 5-month-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was born into a "traditional" family - according to Princess Catherine's favourite children's wear designer, Rachel Riley - and won't wear a frock until she can walk.
Rachel shared: "Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll wear babysuits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses."
Most babies take their first steps between 9 and 12 months old and are walking well by the time they're 14 or 15 months old.
And the designer thinks that the little princess has a while to wait before she's allowed to even wear two-piece sets.
She added: "Even in terms of separates, I don't think she'll be wearing separates until much later."
Rachel's shop in London's fashionable Marylebone sells hand-crafted clothes for children and women where the Duchess of Cambridge has purchased garments.
And Rachel says Princess Catherine, 33, is raising "trendsetters" in baby Charlotte and Prince George, 2.
She told People: "They are absolutely trendsetters. When you look at them, they're just gorgeous, their clothing is gorgeous. The royals stay relevant and modern."

Beckhams are richer than Queen Elizabeth II

The Beckham family are now wealthier than Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.
David and Victoria, together with their four children Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, ten-year-old Cruz and Harper, four, have become a lucrative brand that has amassed more cash than Her Majesty.
According to academics at the London School of Marketing, the family business - which includes David's company Footworks and Victoria's fashion empire entitled Beckham Ventures - has accrued £470m with the figure rising annually by around £30m to £40m.
What's more, the retired soccer star enjoyed a rise in income when he gave up professional football last year and won a £50million contract to endorse a new whiskey for Diageo.
Meanwhile, in comparison the Queen is worth approximately £340million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2015.
The main source of the monarch's income is her Sovereign Grant - a 15 per cent payment from the profits made by the Crown Estate that is paid to her annually.
The Crown Estate is an independent commercial property business, with one of the largest property portfolios in the UK, that dates back to 1760 when George III reached an agreement with the government for surplus revenue from the crown's lands to go to the Treasury.
Since then, every succeeding monarch has renewed the arrangement.
However, neither the Beckhams nor Her Majesty are richer than the Duke of Westminster, Gerald Grosvenor.
The Duke, 63, is a British billionaire, landowner and peer who owns property company Grosvenor Group and is worth £17.6 billion.

Prince William meets young app developer

Britain's Prince William has congratulated a schoolboy who created an anti-bullying app.
The heir apparent visited a school in London on Monday (21.09.15) where he met teenagers from around the country and took anti-bullying classes, and met 15-year-old creator of SABA app Nick Oxley.
The 33-year-old prince "loved" the app and Nick was thrilled to meet him.
Speaking about the experience, Nick said: "I gave him a pack about the app to go away with and I also got a picture with him.
"My mum is going to be really jealous. He loved the idea and he even spoke about coming to visit my school."
Despite the Duke of Cambridge being one of the most popular royals, Nick confessed that he didn't have a clue what he looked like.
He said: "It was quite an educational experience as I didn't even know what Prince William looked like until today."
The teen created the app with his friends Alex Stephens, Ray Grice and Lewis Smith.
It won a mini Dragons' Den competition and is now due to go live in November to coincide with Anti-Bullying Week.
Peter Fairclough, who teaches computing at Nick's school in Langham, Langham Oaks, told the Daily Gazette: "This just shows the high aspirations we have for the boys. They are able to interact with real businesses.
"They are working at such a high level and are so determined."
