Princess Sofia to be a baker?

Sweden's Princess Sofia has joked she would like to become a baker after visiting a bakery in Landsvägen.
The Duchess discovered a new found love in the kitchen after she got stuck in and baked some bread during her tour of the Skedvi Bröd in Dalarna County on Monday (05.10.15).
Speaking to Sweden's Dalarnas Tidningar media outlet as she removed warm loaves from the oven, she said with a giggle: "I think I'm changing careers now."
The brunette beauty was joined by her husband Prince Carl Philip, whom she married just under four months ago, as they embarked on a two-day trip around the county where she grew up as Sofia Hellqvist prior to her romantic nuptials.
The loved-up couple first stopped by in the town of Borlänge where they greeted the local children and well-wishers, before they called into the nearby businesses.
On Tuesday (06.10.15), the pair drove to Alvdalen, the village where Sofia grew up after moving there when she was six, where they met and chatted away to the residents.
Meanwhile, it's set to be a busy month for Sofia and Carl, who first started dating in 2009, as the pair have their nephew Prince Nicolas' baptism coming up next week.
It's believed Prince Carl has been chosen by his younger sister Princess Madeleine to act as the little one's Godfather.

Prince Charles to visit New Zealand

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are set to tour New Zealand next month.
The royal couple, who haven't visited the country for three years, are set to jet to Taranaki on the North of the island for a six-day trip after they bypassed it during their last tour.
New Plymouth Mayor, Andrew Judd, told Stuff.co.nz: "They haven't truly visited the country if they don't come to Taranaki. There's just so much to see and enjoy."
Charles and Camilla's itinerary is yet to be officially announced but details surrounding the trip are due to be released next week by the Department of Internal Affairs.
It's believed the Prince, 66, may even be in the country to celebrate his 67th birthday on November 14.
Meanwhile, the couple's trip comes just six months after Charles' youngest son Prince Harry, 31, flew to New Zealand in May for a short week-long visit.
His eldest son Prince William, 33, his wife Duchess Catherine, 33, and their two-year-old son Prince George also paid a visit to the country in 2014 for a 10-day tour.
However, Taranaki residents haven't received a visit from the member of the royal family since Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Phillip stopped by in 1954.

Countess of Wessex urges businesses to do more charity

Britain's Countess of Wessex has called on big businesses to do more to help charities.
The 50-year-old royal - the daughter-in-law of Queen Elizabeth - believes some global companies "fall far short" of their social responsibilities and has urged them to come up with fundraising strategies to help "people and the planet."
Speaking at a conference in Qatar, the Countess - also known as Sophie of Wessex - was quoted by the Daily Express newspaper as saying: "It's easy for the senior execs, or indeed any employee to wriggle off the hook when the committee has had its say, and the bottom to the top fundraising can fall into the 'well it wasn't my first choice, or it's up to them' category of lack of total engagement."
Sophie, who is the global ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness and patron of Vision 2020, flew to Calcutta in India in 2013 to see first hand the work carried out by the sight-saving charity, Orbis.
She explained: "I have seen for myself the eye clinics, hospital theatres, doctors and health workers many whose work is being supported by Seeing Is Believing.
"More importantly I have met patients for whom a life of darkness or even death is no longer the sentence it once was. I have seen the smiles and the looks of incredulous wonder spread across the faces of many individuals as their sight is restored and they can dare to hope."
She added: "This is only one example of how a company has taken a cause to its very core and done something extraordinarily meaningful.
"I would remind you that you are in the business of making fortunes, we are in the business of changing fortunes."

Prince Harry mistaken for clown

Britain's Prince Harry was mistaken for a clown at the annual WellChild Awards in London last night (05.10.15).
The 31-year-old royal was left in hysterics when Nellie-Mai Evans, from Warcop, Cumbria, asked him if he was comic performer and whether he could make her a balloon animal.
The youngster, who was diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy at just seven months old and has battled cancer three times since, teased him during the pre-awards reception: "Are you a clown? Can you make me a balloon animal please?"
To which Harry replied with a giggle: "I will try to but I can't make any promises."
The flame-haired hunk was nearly reduced to tears when Ruby Smallman, seven - who was nominated for the most caring young person award for her efforts caring for her older sister - gave him a hand-made pottery penguin.
Her mother, Hayley Smallman, told the Daily Express newspaper: "She told me she wanted to make a present for him and we went to a friend's pottery studio, called Fishfingers in Liverpool, where she decided to make him a penguin as she knew he had been to the South Pole."
Prince Harry - who is patron of the charity - attended the WellChild Awards at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane to honour the courage of all those in attendance; including doctors, nurses and school staff who care for them.

Prince William and Harry called a ‘sausage’ by DIY SOS team

Britain's Prince William and Harry were given the nickname "sausage" by an electrician on the 'DIY SOS' team.
The royal brothers, who helped the television team of experts turn a derelict street into homes for ex-service personnel, were stunned when sparky Billy Byrne referred to them in his usual way while working on a refurbishment.
Presenter Nick Knowles told the Radio Times magazine: "Having met them before, I was aware they don't particularly want to be walking round a building site and being called 'Your Royal Highness.' They told me 'You can call us William and Harry.' So everybody was quite happy to call them that."
He added: "Apart from our electrician Billy, who called them 'sausage'. But then he calls everybody sausage.
"Harry said to him: 'If you're going to call me sausage, it's going to be a very long day."
William, 33, and Harry, 31, slipped on personalised hard hats and steel-cap boots as they got stuck in a helped renovate two whole streets in Newton Heath, Manchester.
The project, which took three weeks to complete, saw eight buildings undergo work for the injured servicemen and women, while another 62 houses were rejuvenated.
The episode of 'DIY SOS' featuring Prince William and Harry will air on BBC on October 14 and 21.

Carole Middleton shops for Princess Charlotte

Britain's Duchess of Cambridge's mother Carole Middleton was spotted shopping for her granddaughter Princess Charlotte in London at the weekend.
The 33-year-old royal's mum was seen browsing in Trotters Childrenswear on King's Road in Chelsea as she stocked up on cute little dresses and cardigans for the little one, according to photographs obtained by E! News.
Carrying a large bag filled to the brim with ensembles for the four-month-old baby, Carole strutted her stuff along the high street in a pair of patterned cigarette pants and a blazer.
Throwing a pair of dark shades over her eyes, the 60-year-old businesswomen felt the wind in her hair as she pounded the pavement in a pair of sweet little black ballet flats.
It's not known if the ex-flight attendant picked anything up for her grandson Prince George, two, during her shopping spree but she was also seen with a Russell & Bromley bag.
Meanwhile, Charlotte was born into a "traditional" family and won't be allowed to wear a frock until she can walk.
Rachel Riley, Catherine's favourite children's wear designer, said previously: "Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll wear baby suits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses."
And the designer thinks that the little princess has a while to wait before she's allowed to even wear two-piece sets.
She added: "Even in terms of separates, I don't think she'll be wearing separates until much later."

Prince William wants kids to grow up around elephants

Britain's Duke of Cambridge wants his children to grow up in a world where rhinoceroses and elephants still exist.
The 33-year-old royal wants his son Prince George, two, and five-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte to grow up knowing that people around the world, including himself, did everything they could to stamp out the illegal wildlife trade.
Writing in the Financial Times newspaper, he said: "I cannot imagine what it would feel like if the last elephant or rhinoceros in the wild died."
He added: "And I then had to explain to my children how we let it happen. It would be impossible to reassure them with a straight face that we could still reverse climate change or end intractable conflicts."
Prince William, who is focused on conservation around the world, went on to explain that around 1,000 park rangers have been killed by poachers in the past decade.
He added: "My riposte is that conservation is about people, not just animals. About 80 per cent of revenue received in Africa from tourists comes from watching wild animals, which are the ones most often threatened by poaching."
Meanwhile, the Duke - the grandson of Britain's Queen Elizabeth - reached out to President Barack Obama of the US and President Xi Jinping of China earlier this year to help stop global trafficking.
The two politicians have since pledged to ban domestic ivory markets and to do more to stop the illegal wildlife trade.

Prince Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas dating again?

Britain's Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas was spotted "cosying" up to a mystery man last week.
The 26-year-old actress, who split from the royal earlier this year, has sparked rumours she's dating someone new after she was seen cuddling up to an unidentified male outside restaurant No. 11 Pimlico in Chelsea, London, according to photographs obtained by the Daily Mail newspaper.
The blonde beauty was enjoying a night out with a group of pals when she wrapped her arms around the handsome man, chucked her head back and giggled away with him.
At one point, the gentleman nuzzled into the stunner's neck as he appeared to whisper something into her ear.
The public display of affection comes just weeks after rumours of a possible reunion between Cressida and Harry, 31, began to swirl when she attended his birthday party.
The flame-haired royal was joined by the socialite, whom he split from in April, and 20 other guests as they marked his 31st milestone at the Cross Keys pub in Chelsea, West London with a lavish cake and loud music last month.
A source said at the time: "Harry wants to try and give his relationship with Cressida one more chance."
Meanwhile, news that Cressida may be dating someone new will no doubt come as a surprise to her friends and family as she only split from her boyfriend Edward Holcroft, whom she has been dating for six months, in August.
Harry - the grandson of Queen Elizabeth - has been single since he split from Cressida earlier this year.
