Britain’s Prince and Princess for the Muppets?

The Muppets want Britain's Prince George and Princess Charlotte to appear on the show.
Kermit the Frog is keen for the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to have a starring role in the television series but insists he wouldn't let Gonzo babysit the pair.
Kermit is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "Who wouldn't want them on their show? Heck, we'd be happy to just have them come over and visit us ... and I promise we won't let Gonzo babysit."
Meanwhile, Prince William recently revealed his two-year-old son is very "lively" whilst his five-month-old daughter is "ladylike".
Professor Christopher Dobson shared of his meeting with the 33-year-old royal: "We talked a little bit about the children and he did make a couple of comments about their different temperaments. [He said Charlotte is a] little joy of heaven and ladylike. He said they were both delightful of course."
And it is unlikely Princess Charlotte would be wearing a dress on the show as Duchess Kate is said to be waiting for her daughter to be able to walk before letting her put on a gown.
The royal's favourite children's wear designer, Rachel Riley, shared: "Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll wear babysuits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses."

Britain’s Prince William to address 100m about illegal wildlife trading

Britain's Prince William is to address 100 million Chinese people about the pitfalls of illegal wildlife trading.
The 33-year-old royal has been asked to speak on TV show 'Let's Talk', which is broadcasted across China, in a prerecorded segment expected to be filmed at the Maughan Library at King's College London.
A source said: "This is a chance for him to speak to the people of China, in their homes, and that makes it a little bit more personal than a speech.
"He will be telling them that putting an end to this crisis can be achieved."
The Duke of Cambridge will be interviewed first by the show's presenter before he is joined by panellists Sir David Attenborough, Bear Grylls, and Yao Ming.
Charlie Mayhew, the chief executive of the Tusk Trust, told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I think this is a big moment. The Chinese clearly have respect for Prince William on this particular issue and since his visit in March we have seen a very significant step by President Xi in saying they will close down the domestic ivory trade.
"For him to be able to engage with a wider Chinese audience is really quite significant. We who work in conservation really feel there is a real sense of momentum that didn't exist even two years ago.
"If we can turn the tap off in China that will really signal the end of this awful trade because it would no longer be worth it financially for the international organised criminals. China also has a huge influence over other Asian countries, like Vietnam, that are also major markets for illegal wildlife products."

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth loves marathons

Britain's Queen Elizabeth loves watching marathons.
The 89-year-old royal can't get enough of the sport and once left her guests to enjoy breakfast on their own as she caught up on a race, New Zealand politician Chris Laidlaw has revealed.
Speaking to a Commonwealth history project, he shared: "We were shown down to one of the state rooms and the Queen comes out very casually dressed. She said, 'The breakfast is all over there, there's a big breakfast bar, there's stronger drinks there if you're so inclined. I'm going to watch the marathon, because I love watching the marathon.'
"She said, 'Help yourselves, freedom of the ship, stay as long as you like' and with that she switched on the television set and she chatted away. It was extraordinary."
Queen Elizabeth is known for her love of sports, particularly horse racing, but suffered a disappointing blow earlier this year when her horses failed to win at Royal Ascot.
Joined by husband Prince Philip, children Princess Anne and Prince Edward, and daughter-in-law Countess Sophie, her royal highness watched on as Ring of Truth only took seventh place and Touchline finished in third place.

Lydia Wilson: Imagining life of Duchess Catherine ‘really fun’

'King Charles III' actress Lydia Wilson found imagining what life is like for Britain's Duchess of Cambridge "really fun".
The 31-year-old actress plays Duchess Catherine in the hit satirical play and has confessed she loved preparing for the role as no one really knows how she feels about her life in the limelight.
Speaking about how someone on the London Underground recently asked her what she thought of Catherine's new bangs, Lydia said: "We [may] know that she has a fringe right now, but we don't know how she feels existentially as an outsider in this bizarre royal family. It's really fun to imagine what she might be going through or how clever she must've been to thrive in this very restricted environment."
Lydia particularly enjoyed playing the Duchess - who has two-year-old son Prince George and five-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte with Prince William - because their lives are clearly so different.
She told WWD.com: "She must be up at the crack of dawn, in a job that leaves very little room for your inner life, whereas my life has been sort of a disproportionate focus on my inner life, because I'm trained as an actor. I'm allowed to express and explore, whereas with Kate I think the biggest thing is the sacrifice of that conversation."
'King Charles III' opens on Broadway next month.

Prince William: Princess Charlotte is ‘ladylike’

Britain's Duke of Cambridge has revealed his daughter Princess Charlotte is very "ladylike".
Prince William - who also has two-year-old son Prince George with his wife Duchess Catherine - spoke about his love for his children during a visit to Cambridge University.
Professor Christopher Dobson said: "We talked a little bit about the children and he did make a couple of comments about their different temperaments."
Describing his five-month-old daughter Charlotte as his "little joy of heaven", William is said to have added that she was already very "ladylike".
The 33-year-old royal joked that while Prince George may appear well behaved to the public, he is certainly "lively".
Professor Dobson added: "He said they were both delightful of course."
William - who returned to his former place of study to open a new centre at St. John's College - also commented on their family dog Lupo's fondness for wrecking the lawn at their home in Norfolk.
After being presented with a book titled 'Fitz and Will and the Cambride Cats', William was told that the dog in the tale looked like his family's cocker spaniel, to which he replied: "There wouldn't be any of the lawn left if it was Lupo!"

Duchess of York: Princess Beatrice is ‘very financially savvy’

Britain's Duchess of York says her daughter Princess Beatrice is "very financially savvy".
Sarah Ferguson - who also has daughter Princess Eugenie, 25, with ex-husband Prince Andrew - has insisted Beatrice is doing great in her new job at a Manhattan equity firm and has had no trouble adapting to her new life in New York City as she's much better with money than she is.
She shared: "She loves it. She's doing very well.
"She's very financially savvy, unlike her mother!"
The Duchess also revealed she and Beatrice, 27, were planning a night out in the city to celebrate her 56th birthday last night (15.10.15).
She told People magazine: "We have a great time in New York. We'll probably go somewhere downtown. We love going out downtown."
Although it was recently reported the Duchess had moved to Switzerland, she's claimed she doesn't spend enough time in any one place to call it home.
She explained: "The thing is that I live all over the place. So I'm not really anywhere. I don't live in Switzerland, but I do spend a lot of time there because that's where I got fit and very strong and lost 55 pounds."

Royal Family struggling with social media?

Britain's Royal Family are struggling to adapt to social media.
India Hicks - who is the second cousin and god-daughter of Prince Charles - has revealed that although the family are doing their best to move with the times, they're finding it difficult to decide where it is they should draw a line.
Referring to the family's decision to announce the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's daughter Princess Charlotte on Twitter with the hashtag "#royalbaby", India said: "I think the family is trying to modernise, and that's a very difficult thing to do. How much is too much? ... How modern do you become?"
The 48-year-old former model also rubbished claims Duchess Catherine - who also has two-year-old son Prince George with husband Prince William - won't allow five-month-old Charlotte to wear a dress in favour of traditional garments until she's a year old.
She told Haute Living magazine: "They will be doing exactly what they feel is right."

Prince William: ‘Grief is the most painful experience’

Britain's Prince William has opened up about the "grief" he experienced when his mother died.
The 33-year-old royal paid a touching tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana, during an emotional speech at a gala celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Child Bereavement Charity, of which is mother was a dedicated supporter.
He said: "Twenty-one years ago last month, my mother attended the launch of the Child Bereavement Charity. Fifteen years later, I was honoured to be invited to become Patron of Child Bereavement UK to continue my mother's commitment to a charity which is very dear to me.
"What my mother recognised back then and what I understand now is that grief is the most painful experience that any child or parent can endure."
Prince William and his brother Prince Harry were just 15 and 12 years old, respectively, when Diana was killed in a car crash in 1997.
The Duke of Cambridge - who now has children Prince George and Princess Charlotte with his wife Duchess Catherine - continued: "I have witnessed first-hand the difference CBUK has made and continues to make to the lives of bereaved families. CBUK works with military families, with the wrecked families of suicide victims, with little children whose lives are torn apart by the inexplicable death of a parent. And yet amid all this misery, CBUK - and I don't know how they do this - brings warmth, comfort, a guiding hand, a way through, even colour and joyfulness, and a renewed opportunity for love as a family reknits itself after tragedy."
William opened up about this mother's death for the first time last year after being made patron of the organisation.

Parents banned from naming son Prince William

The parents of a child in France have been banned from naming him Prince William because it could lead to a "lifetime of mockery".
The ruling - which involves a child who cannot be identified due to legal reasons - was made in Perpignan in the south of France after a couple revealed their plans to name their son after Britain's Duke of Cambridge.
However, prosecutors had the power to block the use of the name and called for a ban on the use of Prince William as an extended first name.
A French legal source explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper that Article 57 of the civil code "allows judges to protect a child from a potential lifetime of mockery by overuling the parents".
The couple in question are then said to have asked if they could name their little boy Mini Cooper, but the use of the name of the classic British car was also blocked.
The news comes after another French court was forced to ban parents of a baby girl from naming her Nutella earlier this year.
The couple were reportedly such big fans of the hazelnut spread that they wanted to make it part of the family.
However, a registrar who recorded the baby's birth alerted a prosecutor after noticing the "irregular" name, who referred the case to a family court judge.
