Royal beautician insures hands for £15m

A royal beautician is insuring her hands for £15 million.
Deborah Mitchell, whose clients including Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is no longer allowed to open doors for herself and must wear silk gloves when she is using cutlery and wear hand protectors when she walks her two dogs as part of the deal.
She told MailOnline: "It might sound strange to some but it actually makes good business sense for me.
"I fly all over the world treating celebrities and royalty. This would not be possible if I damaged my hands, even with a small paper cut as I could not treat anyone until it healed.
"My hands are so important to me as I could be called at any minute to attend an important trip with a client and I would never want to let them down."
Deborah – who also has celeb clients including Dannii Minogue and Tess Daly – is no longer allowed to touch a kettle, microwave, oven or pots and pans without wearing gloves, and must also use a letter opener to open envelopes while wearing silk gloves.
The businesswoman – who is thought to be worth around £33 million partly thanks to her company Heaven Skincare – added: "Without my hands, I would not be able to earn a living and make my clients beautiful – and that isn’t an option for me."
