Rod Stewart’s youngest son likes to dress up as a woman.
The 71-year-old rocker – who has eight children by five different women – has admitted five-year-old Aiden is going through a phase where he enjoys putting on his mother Penny Lancaster’s clothes and prancing around in them.
He explained: "The little one, I don’t know yet [what he’ll do when he’s older]. He likes dressing up as a lady. So we don’t know which way he’s thinking. He’s always dressing up like Mary Poppins. Hopefully he’ll grow out of it."
But, even if he doesn’t grow out of it and later decides he’s homosexual, the legendary musician is adamant he’s not bothered about any of his kids’ sexuality providing they’re enjoying life and doing all they can to reach their dreams.
Speaking to The Interview People, he said: "If he turns out to be homosexual, that’s okay with me. As long as he’s happy."
Meanwhile, the ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ hitmaker – who is known for his eccentric dress sense – has clashed with his beautiful wife Penny, whom he married in 2007, over their 10-year-old son Alastair’s future sporting career.
Rod is desperate for the youngster to get stuck into soccer, while Penny, 45, hopes he’ll become an Olympic swimmer.
Speaking at his gig at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas over the weekend, Rod told his adoring fans that he is so proud of Alastair as he had scored a goal earlier that day.
But he added: "He is also a great swimmer. His Mum loves swimming and wants him to be a champion swimmer."
