Rochelle Humes joked she needed a DNA test on her unborn child.
The former member of The Saturdays – who has three-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai with her husband Marvin Humes and is currently pregnant with their second child – quipped that her ‘Ninja Warriors’ co-host Chris Kamara could be the father of her baby as she fell pregnant when she was filming for the ITV show.
Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, she quipped Chris could be the father of her child before the footballer joked they should head to ITV’s The Jeremy Kyle Show, which is famed for offering DNA tests to their guests.
Rochelle joked with Chris: "We need DNA test results."
To which he added: "It was last August."
Rochelle then quipped: "I first found out I was pregnant about the time of Ninja Warriors so if it comes back with a ‘tache, we will know."
And when host Ben Shephard – who also presents ‘Ninja Warriors’ alongside Rochelle and Chris – said he felt sorry for Marvin, Rochelle squealed back through laughter: "Poor old Marvin? Poor me, poor me!"
But on a more serious note, Rochelle is looking forward to relaxing for the next few weeks as the couple prepare for the baby’s arrival.
She said: "I will be on the sofa if anyone wants me after this. I’m really excited, we have got six weeks left.
"Alaia wants the baby to be a girl, so she can have a sister, but we don’t know."
Meanwhile, Rochelle previously confessed she was thrilled she could keep her baby news secret for so long as she didn’t have that luxury the first time around.
She shared: "It was just super-close people that knew. The first time I found out I was pregnant unfortunately we got papped coming out of a scan which was early on, so I had that taken away from me, so this time I was like, I’m gonna be in control of this and keep it quiet as long as possible.’ We did really well, I now know we’ve got really good friends, because although they love a gossip they actually kept their mouths shut so I’m impressed."
