Robotic Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana moves "like a robot" when she isn’t filming.
The 38-year-old actress – who has twin sons Bowie and Cy, 20 months , with husband Marco Perego – admits appearing in sci-fi films such as ‘Star Trek Beyond’, ‘Avatar’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ have taken their toll on her mannerisms, even when she doesn’t always realise it.
Zoe – who currently spends five hours in make-up every day while shooting the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ sequel – said: "Just getting back to my own life and face feels so good.
"That said, I do sometimes bring a little touch of sci-fi home with me. My husband and friends are always saying, ‘Stop shaking your head in that weird way. You look like a robot.’
"And of course you get used to talking in this super theatrical way."
And Zoe admitted she sometimes messes up shooting because she finds the sci-fi dialogue so "ridiculous".
She said: "Sometimes I’ll find myself f***ing up takes because I’m laughing so hard at the ridiculousness that’s coming out of my mouth."
The actress loves being embroiled in the sci-fi world because she finds it so fascinating.
She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: "I have such an affinity with science fiction, and I love spending hours talking about the unimaginable with people who don’t approach it with a cynical heart."
