Robbie Williams has sent Grace Davies a bouquet of flowers ahead of this weekend’s ‘X Factor’ final.
The 20-year-old aspiring pop star burst into tears last night (30.11.17) after a beautiful bunch of blooms arrived at the contestants’ mansion especially for her from the ‘Candy’ hitmaker as a good luck charm.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ this morning (01.12.17), she said: "I got some flowers from Robbie Williams last night. I did, yeah. I’m like his biggest fan. I cried. Absolutely cried."
Asked whether the flowers came with a note, Grace added: "Yeah, it just said: ‘Grace, babe you’re amazing, good luck in the final, Robbie.’ and I was like: ‘stop, stop.’ "
And, considering they already have a bond, it’s thought a collaboration could be on the cards for them – even if she doesn’t manage to win the singing competition this weekend.
Sharon Osbourne – who is Grace’s mentor – said recently: "She’s gonna perform superbly I know that … And she’s so talented. I mean she’s got, when people say they have hundreds of songs written she really has and she will keep sending me all these different songs and I’m like ‘Where do they come from?’ "
Sharon also revealed that Grace is going to sing more of her own tracks this weekend and one classic song to try and win the public’s votes to ensure she has the best chance of nabbing the crown.
She said: "She’s going to do three of her own songs and a classic one and the competition is really tough. When you see someone that you believe in so much and then other people agree with you, it’s a great feeling, it really is. It really honestly blows me away when I see these young kids going up there, they have never performed in front of the huge audience before, usually they have done, you know, working men’s clubs or pubs. So there they are in front of the camera singing live and I’m like how do you have the courage to go out and do it. I’m amazed by it."
