Rita Ora attended a Kensington Palace reception hosted by Prince William and Prince Harry.
The 26-year-old singer was joined by the likes of Radio 1 hosts Nick Grimshaw, Greg James and Clara Amfo at a Teen Heroes event on Wednesday (18.10.17), where the princes and their celebrity guests met youngsters honoured by the radio station.
Harry and William chatted to the winners and finalists of the Teen Heroes of 2017 category of the upcoming BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards.
The youngsters have all been involved in selfless, brave and exceptional achievements.
Among the winners are 12-year-old Harrison, who dramatically turned his life around by changing his diet and exercising.
He has written blogs, spoken at a Public Health seminar and has become a child ambassador to help other kids tackle obesity, anxiety and depression, and trains fellow youngsters to help them achieve similar goals.
What’s more, Holly, 15, and her 13-year-old brother Oliver, are also winners of the award after they set up a charity, The Adams Movement, with their older brother, to help young carers.
They offer psychological, emotional and physical care to their mother, who suffers from associative identity disorder with complex post traumatic trauma.
The four winners will be presented with their Teen Hero Awards at Radio 1’s Teen Awards on Sunday (22.10.17) at London’s SSE Arena, Wembley.
Rita and Nick will co-host the event.
