Riley Keough "loved" her late former step-father Michael Jackson.
The 27-year-old actress, whose mother Lisa Marie Presley had an on-again, off-again relationship with the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker for four years after they divorced in 1996 after two years of marriage, says she only has fond memories of their time together.
The ‘Girlfriend Experience’ star told the New York Times’ T Magazine: "I loved him."
Riley, whose grandfather is the late legendary singer Elvis Presley, also enjoyed staying at Graceland and Michael’s $100 million Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, California, as a child.
She said: "There were toys everywhere, animals everywhere, kids everywhere. It was like being at Disneyland all day."
Asked about her mother’s 108-day marriage to actor Nicolas Cage in 2002, she only replied: "My mom’s a tough b***h."
While the Golden Globe nominee, who was primarily raised by her father Danny Keough in Hawaii, admits her "upbringing was very intense," she knew she always wanted to be an actress.
She explained: "I always wanted to be in film. I knew that. I grew up in a family of musicians, so it was also something I wasn’t around a lot. I wanted to make movies and that’s all I wanted to do when I was a kid was film everything and I was very fascinated with people and human behaviour."
