Ricky Martin has become a father for the fourth time.
The singer and his husband Jwan Yosef have become parents for a fourth time, after revealing they have welcomed a son named Renn into the world.
Posting on Instagram, Ricky wrote a message in his native Spanish, which when translated read: "Our son Renn Martin-Yosef was born #TheBabyIsBorn (sic)"
Ricky also shared the happy news on his Instagram Stories, writing the same caption underneath the photo and adding "#4" with a baby emoji and a party emoji.
The arrival of Renn makes Ricky and Jwan fathers of four, with their family completed by twin sons Matteo and Valentino, 11, and 10-month-old daughter Lucia.
Ricky announced he and Jwan were set to have a fourth child last month, during the 23rd annual Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington D.C.
The ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ hitmaker said: "My family’s here. Jwan, I don’t see you but my husband Jwan, I love you, my beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here, I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing and you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing. I love you. Lucia, my baby girl who is not here with us, she stayed at home with Grandma, but she’s also the light of my life.
"And by the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant. We are waiting. Alright! I love big families."
Ricky made the announcement while he was accepting the HRC National Visibility Award for his advocacy of LGBTQ rights and his philanthropy.
Speaking about Ricky, HRC President Alphonso David said: "With his unique voice and passionate activism, Ricky Martin has used his international stage to advocate for LGBTQ people around the world."
