Reese Witherspoon has welcomed a new puppy into her family.
The Oscar-winning actress has added a blue-grey French Bulldog called Pepper to her ever-increasing collection of pets, which also includes pigs, goats and chickens.
Reese announced the news on her Instagram account, posting a picture of Pepper alongside the caption: "Introducing Pepper! Welcome to the Family."
The ‘Wild’ actress has previously revealed how far her love of animals extends.
Reese said: "I have two pigs, and I have three goats, and I have twenty chickens … I have a horse, I have three dogs."
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old star recently revealed she is taking a step back from Hollywood to make her family her top priority.
Reese – who has three-year-old son Tennessee with her husband Jim Toth and 16-year-old daughter Ava and son Deacon, 12, from a previous relationship – shared: "My family comes first. I haven’t made a movie probably in a year and a half. I’m focused on my business, but also I want to spend time with my teenage daughter. It’s terrifying that my oldest child is about to leave [home to go to university].
"I can’t imagine not sitting at the foot of her bed, saying, ‘So what happened at school today?’ "
