Rebel Wilson thinks it is her size that makes her funny.
The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star insists her plus size figure is what made her comedy career such a success.
She said: "There’s something about me that people like laughing at."
Recalling the time she had an epiphany to pile on the pounds and focus on comedy, she added: "I was like, ‘Oh. That girl’s getting a lot of laughs, a lot easier than me. What is it?’ Because I don’t think there’s much difference in talent.
"And I remember distinctly thinking, ‘I think it’s because she’s fatter’. And then, I don’t know if it was mega-conscious, but I thought, ‘How can I get more laughs? Maybe if I was a bit fatter …’ And then suddenly I was fatter, and doing comedy."
And the 36-year-old actress insists she sees her size as an "advantage" whilst other women feel being plus size is a "disadvantage".
She added to The Telegraph newspaper: "I saw my size as being an advantage whereas so many women see it as a disadvantage."
Meanwhile, Rebel previously revealed she likes being curvy.
She shared: "To me, getting an A+ in school is better than getting an A and I’m being called ‘plus’. I kind of like being curvy and eating dessert every second night so that’s kind of why I am the way I am."
