Rebecca Jeffery fired from The Apprentice

Rebecca Jeffery has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
The 31-year-old design and marketing agency owner has become the sixth contestant to be given the boot by Lord Sugar, as the tycoon didn’t foresee her as his future business partner.
Rebecca got the axe after her team Nebula failed the night shift task – which saw the contestants go on a mission to buy nine items from stores around London – by spending the most money on goods and failing to pick up all items that were requested.
Speaking to the marketing expert in the boardroom, who admitted to being partly to blame for the failed task, Lord Sugar said: "Rebecca, you asked for the opportunity to be a project manager and once again, you didn’t take it.
"You are a good talker, there is no question of that. It is difficult, this was a serious failure, on balance I’ve got to think about the people going forward in this and I’ve also got to think about past performance. On that basis, I’m going to have to say, Rebecca, you’re fired!"
Rebecca was appointed to the Nebula team along with Project Manager Trishna, Paul, Frances, Sofiane and Jessica.
She started off the task in confidence but came unstuck nearer the end when she sent her team off on a trek for African black soap, but realised once they arrived at the international supermarket that the manager had misunderstood her.
With both teams undergoing problems with negotiating throughout the task, the final result ended with Rebecca and her team Nebula spending a total of £520.55, while the opposing Team Titan spent £408.10.
Once Nebula learned that they were the losing team, Trishna decided to bring Rebecca and Sofiane back into the boardroom to face the billionaire businessman.
Lord Sugar told project manager Trishna: "I think the failing of this task lays firmly with the fact that the strategy was not adhered to. I find it very hard not to put the total blame on you".
