Love Island’s Rebecca Gormley is "seeing where things go" with Biggs Chris, but insisted "nothing is official" between them just yet.
The pair met on this year’s first-ever winter series of the ITV2 dating show but didn’t couple up with each other, and Biggs was eliminated from the show shortly after the Casa Amor stage, with Rebecca still in the villa.
She was coupled up with Jordan Waobikeze but they went their separate ways after being dumped from the island, and in her exit interview Rebecca admitted she had feelings for Biggs.
They have since hooked up, and she has now said: "Biggs and I have have been spending some time together and seeing where things go. Nothing is official.
"He really makes me laugh and we have great banter together. He is a really nice guy."
The 21-year-old carer admitted the 27-year-old car body repair specialist has her in "hysterics" and is "very caring".
She added to The Sun Online: "Biggs lives in Scotland and me in Newcastle, so it’s not a million miles away, but there is still some distance between us.
"But things are going well so far. I am attracted to him and he has me in hysterics plus he is very caring, which I like in a man. So let’s see what the future brings."
Shortly after Rebecca’s ‘Love Island’ departure, Biggs admitted he "wasn’t surprised" about her exit interview comments.
He told Cheltenham Betting Offers: "I’m not surprised at all, because I felt it. I knew it was going to happen.
"Jordan is my boy, obviously, but I felt the banter. Me and Rebecca seemed very alike, we’re very similar."
Following Rebecca’s ‘Love Island’ exit, she wished she had made more of her time in the villa after rushing to couple up with 24-year-old administrator Jordan during Casa Amor week.
Asked if she regretted not getting to know the rest of the Casa Amor boys, Rebecca confessed: "I wish I did chat to them all and find out more about everyone else – like Biggs. I loved Biggs. He was mint. His personality is the kind of personality I would go for. I would definitely meet up with him."
