Rebecca Ferguson’s Paris plans

Rebecca Ferguson wants to move to Paris permanently.
The ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’ hitmaker is currently residing in France and loves the culture so much that she hopes to make the city her home.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I’m in Paris at the minute but because I’ve got the tour coming up, I’m probably going to have to move back [to the UK], which is really annoying.
"I want to stay in Paris but it depends how this album goes. I’m really busy in the UK. "
And the 30-year-old singer – who has two children Karl Dures, Jr. and Lillie May, from a past relationship – is already getting to know the locals.
She added: "I was messaging people in the label saying I just want to do little jazz bars in Paris. I’ve made a few mates, the cheeseman, the baker."
Rebecca’s idea to make a move to the European city comes after a tough 12 months where she lost someone very close to her.
She shared: "I like winging life a little bit, life’s too short and I lost someone really close to me this year and it really taught me to live life and enjoy it."
Meanwhile, Rebecca previously revealed she was "heartbroken" when she was dubbed a "mistress" for unknowingly dating a man who was in another relationship.
She said: "I went through a crazy breakdown with my daughter’s father and found out he had a girlfriend and was heartbroken. And then I got labelled a mistress and I was so angry and upset. To me that is not what it was. To me I didn’t know he had a partner."
However, the mother-of-two has tried to turn her experience into a positive one and used it to inspire her new track.
Speaking about the single, she said: "So ‘Mistress’ is a fight back song of no that ain’t me, you’ve been trying to get with me so long. But it is an anthem for every woman who gets used in situations like that. It’s like tell them that ain’t me, I ain’t no one’s side salad. It is one of those songs that if you are being used or whatever, you are like no I am too lovely to be second best."
