Leanne Brown has had her breast implants removed.
The former ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star – who underwent two boob jobs aged 21 and 26 – has opened up about the health impact of the procedures, and she urged her followers to be more aware of the risks associated with fake boobs.
Leanne, now 42, took to her Instagram Stories to share an image of a ruptured implant, and wrote: "This is one of the worst capsules I’ve seen but I wanted to share this as both were ruptured terribly calcified and as it says interestingly the mammogram came back negative! (sic)"
The reality star added: "If you don’t feel right don’t take no for an answer ladies!"
Leanne shared a video featuring ‘Botched’ doctor Terry DuBrow, and she backed his expertise on the matter.
She captioned the clip: "You know when Botched Dr starts talking about breast implant illness it’s real! Listen!"
She also provided links to a number of concerning statistics about implant-related illness, and continued to encourage women to seek help.
She wrote: "Why am I still getting messages from women saying that the surgeons will not remove these kind of implants!
"Class 1 recall surely means you have a right to have them removed they are poison. (sic)"
Over the summer, Leanne was seen on Channel 4 show ‘Dispatches’ as she discussed the impact of her own silicone implants, and revealed she suffered from "so many of the symptoms", including headaches, breast pain, muscle aches and fatigue.
She said at the time: "In my opinion they are definitely ticking time bombs… Knowing the full dangers about them. They are toxic bags.
"I am looking forward to going back to my natural body and being healthy and happier. Nothing is worth sacrificing your health."
