RAYE confirmed as headliner for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend

RAYE is set to headline BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

The record-breaking BRIT award winner will top the bill at Stockwood Park in Luton, Bedfordshire, on Saturday, May 25.

Other main stage performers that day include Aitch, Griff, Joel Corry, Mabel and Rag’n’Bone Man.

Charli XCX will headline the New Music Stage, which will also see performances from The Last Dinner Party, Shygirl and Tems.

Drum and bass legends Chase and Status are headlining the night before, and will be joined by the likes of Becky Hill, Ella Henderson and Rudimental.

The lineup for the final date, May 26, will be confirmed by BBC Radio 1 later this week.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday (21.03.24) via Ticketmaster.

‘Prada’ hitmaker RAYE made history when she scooped a record-breaking six prizes at the BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard last month.

The singer nabbed Album of the Year for ‘My 21st Century Blues’, Song of the Year for ‘Escapism’, was named Best R’n’B Act, Best New Artist, Artist of the Year and also became the first female artist to win Songwriter of the Year.

RAYE’s huge haul smashed a record previously held by Blur, Adele and Harry Styles – all of whom had collected four gongs in a single ceremony.
