Queen to give Ariana Grande Damehood?

Ariana Grande’s fans have called for Queen Elizabeth to award the pop star with an honorary Damehood after she organised a charity concert in Manchester as a tribute to those who were affected by the terror attack in the city on Sunday (04.06.17) night.
The 23-year-old singer was left heartbroken two weeks ago when 22 people tragically lost their lives and over 60 were severely injured when an extremist let off an explosive at the end of her concert at Manchester Arena.
But, despite her heartache, the ‘Break Free’ hitmaker vowed to do something to help the victims and their relatives and honour those who are no longer with us, so arranged for a One Love Benefit Concert at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground.
The brunette beauty called up her friends from around the world – including Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Take That – and asked them to take part.
During her set, the ‘Problem’ hitmaker took a moment to speak to the crowds – which included a number of those who were at her show when the attack took place – to thank them for being the "medicine that the world really needs right now."
She said: "Before we go any further, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being here today. I love you so so much. Thank you. I want to thank you so much for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified. I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity we’re displaying is the medicine that the world really needs right now. So I want to thank you for being just that."
Ariana has also re-released her hit single ‘One Last Time’ on iTunes in order to help raise further funds for the charity, which was set up by the British Red Cross.
A message posted alongside the new single reads: "Some of the world’s biggest pop stars – including Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Black Eyed Peas – join forces for Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester concert to support those affected by the tragic events of May 22.
"Stand united with Manchester: download Ariana’s ‘One Last Time’ and watch the concert live on Sunday on Apple Music. All proceeds from each sale of the track featured on the page will be donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in coordination with the British Red Cross."
