Queen Elizabeth unveils Queen Mother statue

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles have unveiled a statue of the Queen Mother.
The mum and son pair travelled to Poundbury, Dorset, south west England to unveil the magnificent artwork in the aptly-named Queen Mother Square.
Charles told the cheering crowd: "So it is with immense pride and in loving memory of my darling grandmother that I invite Your Majesty to unveil the statue of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and thus to declare open her Square."
Poundbury is particularly special to the royals as Charles created the town back in 1993.
The experimental town, which is now home to around 3,000 people, was built on land owned by his estate, the Duchy of Cornwall.
Charles recalled to the crowd how the vision for the area was once seen as a "mad dream".
He said: "25 years ago all this was a mere dream. To most people … a completely mad dream."
Elizabeth was joined by Prince Philip, and Charles had Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, for company as they toured the area.
All four headed to the Waitrose supermarket in Poundbury for a look around and they were gifted free hampers which even included dog food for the family pets.
Charles said afterwards: "I can’t possibly thank Waitrose enough for their generous hospitality today."
