Princess Eugenie of York felt "very proud" after she watched ‘The Crown’.
The 27-year-old royal, who is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, has revealed she is a huge fan of the Netflix programme, which is based around the royal family, and felt pleasantly surprised by the programme and the "beautiful" storyline.
Speaking to Hello! magazine about the show, she said: "It is filmed beautifully. The music is wonderful, the story is beautiful. You feel very proud to watch it."
However, Eugenie – who is the daughter of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, and the Duchess of York Sarah – has revealed her opinion of the series is only her own views.
She added: "I can’t speak for everyone, but that’s how I felt when I watched it."
Eugenie has hinted she splits her time between her "service to her family" and her grandmother, as well as her working life, which is quite flexible because of her status.
Eugenie, who is an associate director at Hauser & Wirth, explained: "My boss is a lovely man. I think he understands when I have to take an afternoon. I think there is an understanding that goes both ways. I am in service to my family and to the love of my grandmother."
And Eugenie will be pleased to know ‘The Crown’ is set to get a second series and will return to screens on December 8, as Claire Foy and Matt Smith reprise their roles as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, but this time around it will delve more into their personal lives as they welcome their sons Princes Andrew and Edward.
