Princess Eugenie thinks people will be surprised to hear that she has a full-time job.
The 26-year-old royal works at The Hauser & Wirth at their London office on Savile Row and has admitted she feels most people probably think she isn’t able to hold down a job because of her royal engagements.
The flame-haired beauty also revealed she has suffered from scoliosis, a common condition which causes abnormal twisting and curvature of the spine and many may not know she is only able to stand with metal rods in her back.
Asked what people would be surprised to learn about her, she said: "That I have a full-time job. And I have metal rods in my back keeping me straight. I was born with scoliosis and had an operation when I was 12. Those rods live with me permanently."
Meanwhile, Eugenie – who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson – said she wouldn’t be able to live without her mother and father and her sister Princess Beatrice and her dogs.
Asked what she can’t live without, she told the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine: "My family. That sounds cheesy, but I really can’t. Especially my mum. I wouldn’t be able to make tough decisions without her. And my sister. My mum always says that we’re the only ones who know exactly what’s going on in each other’s lives. My father as well. He’s the rock. And I couldn’t live without my doggies. [Laughs.]"
