Princess Diana had nightmares about Duchess Camilla

The late Princess Diana used to have nightmares about Duchess Camilla.
Diana married the Prince of Wales in 1981 but during their 15-year marriage, as well as the years leading up to their wedding day, she was "obsessed" with the 69-year-old royal – who is now married to Prince Charles – and was plagued by fears her partner was contacting Camilla "every five minutes", after rumours circulated Charles was enjoying an affair with the Duchess of Cornwall whilst they were together.
Speaking about her romance concerns in recordings made with author Andrew Morton, who penned ‘Diana: Her True Story’, which have recently been released and obtained by the Mail Online, Diana – who tragically died in a car accident in 1997 aged 36 – said: "My dreams were appalling. At night, I dreamt of Camilla the whole time.
"I was obsessed by Camilla totally.
"I didn’t trust (Charles) – thought every five minutes he was ringing her up, asking how to handle his marriage.
"The Camilla thing rearing its head the whole way through our engagement.
Diana – who has sons Prince William, 34, and Prince Harry, 32, – has revealed even on her wedding day she was looking out for Camilla in the crowds, although she was trying to distract herself by focusing on her late father, John Spencer, and her 68-year-old partner waiting at the alter for her.
She explained: "I sobbed my eyes out. I absolutely collapsed and it was because of all sorts of things.
"Father (still suffering from the after-effects of a massive stroke) was so thrilled, he waved himself stupid. We went past St Martin-in-the-Fields and he thought we were at St Paul’s. He was ready to get out. It was wonderful, that.
"As I walked up the aisle, I was looking for her (Camilla). I knew she was in there, of course. I looked for her.
"I had to get my father basically up the aisle and that’s what I concentrated on.
"So walking back down the aisle, I spotted Camilla – pale grey, veiled pillbox hat, saw it all, her son Tom standing on a chair. To this day, you know – vivid memory."
