Princess Charlotte sleeping ‘through the night’

Britain’s Princess Charlotte has been sleeping "through the night".

The one-month-old royal – who is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – has reportedly been "much easier" to look after than their first child, 23-month-old Prince George, because they’ve been managing to get some much needed shut-eye.

The Duke’s father, Prince Charles, is said to have spoken about the newest addition to his family during a tea party with World War II veterans at Clarence House in London.

Geoff Bradley, who attended the luncheon, is reported by People magazine as saying: "He [Prince Charles] was saying Princess Charlotte does sleep through the night and it was much easier on mum than Prince George."

The news comes after Prince William, 32, revealed he and Duchess Catherine were suffering from sleepless nights because of their new born and her energetic older brother.

Steph Houghton – who is captain of the England women’s soccer team and met William last month – said: "He was saying he’s obviously really enjoying being a father and Princess Charlotte is actually keeping him up – and probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired."
