Prince William reportedly takes sandwiches to work at the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
It’s emerged that Britain’s Duke of Cambridge takes his own food while working at the Cambridge base as their fridge recently broke down and they took to social media asking the public to donate a new cooler to keep their dinner’s fresh.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance Service wrote on Twitter: "Oh no! The fridge at our Cambridge base has broken down and needs replacing.
"We’re looking for someone to donate a new standard under-counter fridge.
"Please comment below or email comms@eaaa.org.uk."
Several sources have contacted Kensington Palace to suggest the Royal family should pay for a new fridge, however they have declined to comment.
All the money Prince William makes from working for the service goes to charity.
Meanwhile, William’s work recently involved flying on his Air Ambulance to a Suffolk prison where medics treated a prisoner for a seizure and the royal had to have four prison security guards and his own protection officer, while he waited by his helicopter after landing in the grounds of HMP Highpoint in Suffolk.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The helicopter landed a few yards outside the main gate and four prison staff immediately surrounded it to offer Prince William greater protection.
"Lots of people came out of their houses to see what was going on but the staff kept them well away from him."
