Prince William’s ex-girlfriend has auditioned for ‘The Voice’.
Rose Farquhar, who briefly dated the now-married royal in 2000, has turned to the BBC show in the hope of impressing the coaches and subsequently launching her singing career.
The 31-year-old beauty is desperate to get the seal of approval from Boy George, will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Paloma Faith as she belts out her rendition of Dusty Springfield’s classic ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’ during the blind audition round of the show.
And Rose will unlikely have any trouble sailing through to the next round as this isn’t the first time she’s tried out for a TV talent show and sailed through to the final.
She previously battled for the lead role in the stage production of ‘The Sound of Music’ on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s talent contest ‘How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria?’ in 2006.
And, although she made the final but didn’t win, the aspiring actress received a BBC Fame Academy Award to study Musical Theatre and Acting in New York following her stint on the BBC One show.
Since then, she has been trying to get her big break by performing at weddings and events worldwide.
Rose’s audition will hit screens this Saturday (20.02.16) on BBC One at 7.15pm.
