Prince William shows off hockey skills

Prince William showed off his sporting skills during a bandy hockey shootout in Stockholm, Sweden, on Tuesday (30.01.18).
The 35-year-old royal went head to head against his pregnant wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and managed to beat her two goals to one in a penalty shootout played between the royals after they had watched a full game of the popular sport.
Anna Widing, an international bandy player who coached the couple before the shootout, said of their performance: "I could see that maybe they like to beat each other. It was a privilege for us to show our sport to them."
After their action packed morning, William and Catherine, 36, travelled to the country’s royal palace where they were greeted by King Carl XVI Gustaf, who hosted a lunch for the pair.
At the King’s lunch, the couple also met the Queen of Sweden and 15 other members of the royal court, including Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, who accompanied the British royals on the rest of their trip.
During their trip to Stockholm, the pair also met with a few locals, one of whom, named Karin Wahlgren gifted them a special glove which can be used to wipe their dog Lupo’s paws when they get muddy.
The duke and duchess also spoke to maths teacher Niklas Schild, who told Prince William that he was planning to travel to Windsor for his brother Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle in May.
After meeting with the royal, Niklas said: "William told me ‘you’ll be very welcome – it will be a very happy day’."
