Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy has confirmed she is seeing a mystery new man.
The 34-year-old Zimbabwean businesswoman was the 35-year-old royal’s first serious girlfriend, but their on/off romance ended after seven years in 2011, as Chelsy struggled with the intense spotlight of dating a member of the British royal family.
Harry has remained close friends with his ex-lover and she even attended his wedding to wife Duchess Meghan at Windsor Castle in May 2018.
Asked whether she is dating anyone at the moment, Chelsy replied: "Yes, there is someone, and I am quite taken by this one, but it’s very new and I don’t want to say too much."
Her new relationship comes after Chelsy had a brief romance with one of Meghan’s friends.
The blonde beauty was spotted passionately kissing TV producer James Marshall, who was once married to Elettra Wiedemann, daughter of Isabella Rossellini and close pal of the former ‘Suits’ star – who was known as Meghan Markle before marrying the prince – in April 2018.
A source said at the time: "It’s not clear if Meghan introduced Chelsy to James, but this keeps everyone happy."
Chelsy has also admitted she finally feels like "everything is falling into place" in her life, especially with her career taking shape.
She added to the April issue of Tatler magazine: "I’m very happy with where I am right now.
"I’m happy with everything. I’m doing something in Africa that I’m passionate about and I’m excited for what my vision is and what that will create. Everything is falling into place."
Chelsy now runs her own jewellery business Aya after working in law.
In 2016, the former trainee solicitor opened up about what it was like being with Harry – who now has a nine-month-old son, Archie, with Meghan and is stepping back as a senior member of the royal family to start a new life in Canada with his family – and admitted she just "couldn’t cope" with the constant surveillance of her life.
She said: "It was tough. It was so full on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable.
"I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible.
"I like to enjoy life, but I like to achieve things and am very ambitious.
"They can be forgiven for not knowing I was working really hard, I didn’t shout about it.
"If you go out once, they take a picture, but they don’t take a picture of you going to work every morning, it’s of you falling out of a nightclub at 4am."
