Prince Harry visits the Sydney Olympic Park

Prince Harry visited the Sydney Olympic Park during his trip to Australia.
The 32-year-old royal launched the 500-day countdown to the Invictus Games 2018 on Wednesday (07.06.17), and during his time down under the flame-haired hunk decided to check out the site where the event will take place.
And Harry – who is currently dating ‘Suits’ actress Meghan Markle – was fortunate to meet with the Australia’s swimming squad and witness them undergo a gruelling training session in preparation for the Toronto 2017 Games.
A picture of Harry alongside the squad, who all adorned their swimwear except for him, has been shared on Kensington Palace’s Instagram page.
The post read: "Prince Harry checked out some of the venues at Sydney Olympic Park which will be used in the 2018 Sydney Invictus Games. He got the chance to see the team Australia swimming squad training hard for the Toronto 2017 Games. (sic)."
Harry remained in good spirits during his trip despite the bad weather, and was thrilled to meet with an elderly woman named Daphne who waited in the pouring rain to meet Harry.
A photograph of Harry laughing with Daphne has been uploaded to their photo-sharing site, and reads: "So nice to see you again Daphne! And a big thank you to everyone who waited in the rain to say hello to Prince Harry in Sydney today. (sic)."
The 2018 Invictus Games was founded by Harry, and the international sporting extravaganza is set to take place next year for military veterans who have suffered an injury or illness, but have relied on sport to "fix their lives".
Speaking at the launch at Sydney’s Admiralty House yesterday, Harry said: "Sport would help these guys and girls fix their lives and reconnect with those around them. The spectacle of sport combined with stories of recovery against the odds would inspire all those who saw it. Lives have been changed in front of my eyes. Amazing men and women proving the impossible is possible. That is exactly what we did when we held the first Invictus Games in 2014."
