Prince Harry is reportedly buying girlfriend Meghan Markle a £30,000 car for her birthday.
The ‘Suits’ actress will turn 36 on August 4 and it is rumoured her 32-year-old beau is forking out a massive sum in the name of love, and will treat his partner to an exclusive Mini John Cooper Works countryman model for her special day.
And it has been reported the flame-haired hunk has decided on the vehicle to help Meghan "nip around" London and stay "fairly anonymous" when she visits him in London.
Speaking about the present to The Daily Star Online, a source said: "Harry is convinced this is a great gift for Meg. She’ll be able to nip around London yet stay fairly anonymous."
However, it is believed Meghan is only used to driving an automatic car and will need to get a few tips from her beau on how to drive a manual vehicle and use the gear-stick again.
The source added: "Meghan is used to driving automatics so Harry says he will have to teach her how to use a gear-stick."
Although Harry and Meghan have only been dating one another just short of one year, it looks like things are progressing at the speed of light for the couple as Harry’s already thinking about what it’d be like to have a family.
Speaking previously, a separate source said: "Having a baby with Meghan is all that Harry talks about at the moment – he can’t wait to be a dad."
And, although they’re almost certain they want to spend the rest of their lives together, Harry is determined not to dive into things too quickly after watching his own parents Princes Charles and the late Princess Diana go through divorce.
The insider explained: "Coming from divorced parents himself, Harry is adamant that when he marries, he will marry forever – plus, of course, there’s his status to consider."
