Prince Harry wants to appear on ‘Take Me Out’.
The 31-year-old royal begged host Paddy McGuinness after they met on a night out in London to give him a slot of the popular dating show, which sees a single male try and impress 30 ladies, in the hope of landing a date.
Speaking on BBC Radio One, Paddy, 42, explained: "We’re having something to drink in the evening and who do I bump into? Prince Harry. He walks in the room [and] he comes straight up to me and he goes, ‘I want to be on your show – I want to go to Fernando’s [a fictional tropical island in Tenerife].’ I was like, ‘I don’t think you need the help.’
"I’m a lad from Bolton and I’ve got a prince of England asking me if he can go to Fernando’s.
"It doesn’t get much better than that. All the lads had their mouths open thinking, ‘What the hell happened?’ "
However, the flame-haired hunk hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to the ladies as he split from actress and model Cressida Bonas in 2014 following two years of dating.
Prior to that, he romanced Chelsy Davy for five years until they parted ways amicably in 2009.
But Harry believes his public status shatters his chances of finding the perfect woman because they usually get freaked out by the publicity that comes with dating a prince.
He said recently: "If or when I do find a girlfriend, I will do my utmost … to ensure that me and her can get to the point where we’re actually comfortable with each other before the massive invasion that is inevitably going to happen into her privacy. The other concern is that even if I talk to a girl, that person is then suddenly my wife, and people go knocking on her door."
