Prince Harry extends Nepal trip

Britain’s Prince Harry is staying in Nepal for six more days.
The 31-year-old royal was meant to conclude his five-day tour of the South Asian country last night (23.03.16) but he has now decided to extend his trip by almost another week in order to work on a charity project, which aims to rebuild a school destroyed by last year’s earthquake in the Himalayas.
He said of his decision to stay longer: "The people I have met and the beauty of this country make it very hard to leave. Thankfully however, I’m not leaving just yet.
"I’m so grateful to have this opportunity at the end of my official tour to do my small bit to help."
The flame-haired hunk will camp with a group of volunteers in a remote village in central Nepal as he works alongside Rubicon UK – a disaster response charity which uses the skills and experience of military veterans to deploy emergency response teams – over the next few days.
The disaster last April claimed 9,000 lives, largely in rural areas, and left many people without homes and belongings.
Prince Harry arrived in Nepal last weekend and has been busy visiting hospitals, charities and national parks as he saw first hand how people were coping after the tragedy.
And he’s not the first member of the royal family to stop by the country as his parents Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana also visited in 1980 and 1993, respectively.
