Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly set to make their first official appearance at the Invictus Games.
The high-profile couple have been dating since mid-2016 and recently went on a holiday together in Africa, but they are now poised to make their relationship public with an appearance at the sporting event in Toronto, Canada.
The actress films her TV show ‘Suits’ in the city and Toronto is poised to host the event for injured and disabled servicemen, with the duo set to go public on September 23, according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper.
Rumours have been rife for months that Harry and Meghan are planning to announce their engagement.
And according to an insider, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are keen for the flame-haired royal to settle down.
A source told the publication: "Harry’s father is just keen for him to settle down and be happy.
"Both Charles and Camilla are understood to have held back from expressing views, keen that Harry should have his own space to make his own decision."
It’s been claimed, too, that Harry has delayed introducing Meghan to the other royals until he was convinced he has long-term future with the actress.
The insider shared: "Harry was nervous of introducing Meghan to them because he did not want people to jump to conclusions about someone he deeply cared for.
"He wanted to consider in his own time whether or not she might have a permanent place in his life."
