Prince had the "biggest" sweet tooth, according to his bodyguard’s family.
The late ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker – who died on Thursday morning (21.04.16) at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota at the age of 57 – was a huge fan of the chocolate chip cake Charles Huntsberry’s wife Linda, used to make, and would request the dessert prior to visiting the family.
Speaking to People magazine about their recollections of the music legend, Charles’ son Chuck said: "He had the biggest sweet tooth ever."
Chuck’s sister Rebecca added: "He loved mom’s spaghetti and meatballs and the chocolate chip cake was a big one. He’d call and say ‘Linda can you make me a chocolate chip cake?’ And she would say, ‘Well sure, honey.’"
Charles and his family, including their six children, relocated to the American mid-western state – where Prince passed away in -1982 to be closer to the Grammy award winning star, and are shocked by the news, which they call a "nightmare".
Charles’ daughter Brigitte explained: "The fact that he died alone is horrible.
"We still can’t believe it. It seems like a nightmare. It’s heartbreaking and we are all so upset. He was and is a huge part of our lives, he was truly our brother."
