Prince is doing fine after he was rushed to hospital.
The ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker – who is in the midst of his Piano & A Microphone Tour – was in the air when his flu symptoms became worse.
His private jet made an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline, Illinois where he spent three hours in hospital.
He is now feeling much better and was flown home to rest and recuperate, his representative has confirmed.
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old singer previously revealed he is writing a memoir titled ‘The Beautiful Ones’.
Telling fans about the exciting news in New York last month, he said: "The good people of Random House have made me an offer I can’t refuse! It’s going to be called ‘The Beautiful Ones’. I literally just got off the plane. I’m going to go home and change and put some dancing clothes on. Props to my brother Harry Belafonte.
"You all still read books, right? My brother Dan – Dan Piepenbring of the Paris Review – is helping with it. He’s a good critic. That’s what I need. Not a yes man."
