Prince Charles releases Christmas card

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have released their official Christmas card.
Clarence House have given royal fans a sneak peak at the couple’s seasonal card, which features the pair on the front, on its official Twitter account.
The royals – who got married in 2005 – have seemingly put a lot of thought into their festive mini poster this year as they’ve picked out a special photograph of them during their Spring tour to the Western Balkans and Croatia.
The sweet shot, which sees them surrounded by the locals in their traditional national costumes while at the Cultural Heritage Festival in Osijek, Croatia, where the group performed a dance, was surrounded by a red border.
The message reads: "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."
The pair are no doubt looking forward to winding down over the festive period and seeing their family as they’ve had a busy 12 months over the past year.
And it doesn’t look like their schedule is set to slow down next year either as Charles is keen to get stuck in to the refurbishments at Buckingham Palace.
The 68-year-old prince, who is a huge environmental campaigner, is keen to have solar panels put on the roof to make it environmentally friendly.
It comes following the news that Queen Elizabeth has been urged to foot the bill for the renovations.
A petition of more than 100,000 people was signed demanding the 90-year-old monarch pay for the repairs, which will take 10 years to complete.
The campaign called 38 Degrees is headed up by Mark Johnson, who feels more money should be spent on education and health care rather than the upkeep of the royal residence in London.
He said: "There is a national housing crisis, the NHS is in crisis, austerity is forcing cuts in many frontline services.
"Now the Royals expect us to dig deeper to refurbish Buckingham Palace."
