Pregnant Alex Jones: ‘I feel great’

Alex Jones says her pregnancy is going great.
The 39-year-old TV presenter announced on Friday (02.09.16) that she and husband Charlie Thompson, whom she married last year at Cardiff Castle in Wales, are expecting their first child together and she spoke about her pregnancy on ‘The One Show’ later that day.
She said: "Lots of you had guessed – I’d been trying to breathe in, but now the secret’s out I can relax. And breathe out.
"I’ve had no sickness and no tiredness. I feel great!"
Earlier the brunette beauty confirmed the pregnancy on her Twitter account, writing: "Charlie & I are very happy to confirm that we’re expecting a baby in the new year. Feel so lucky that we’re about to become parents. Xx. (sic)"
Uploading a photograph of a white baby grow with "coming soon" emblazoned across it, Alex wrote on Instagram: "Absolutely delighted and feel very lucky that we’re about to become parents. #andbreatheout #newbabyalert (sic)"
Alex’s baby news comes just a few months after she admitted she was worried she may have left it too late to have kids as her mother went through early menopause.
She said: "It’s useful to know because we shouldn’t hang about, but at the end of the day, what can you do? You hope it will happen. It might, it might not.
"The more pressure you put on yourself, the worse it becomes, because the one thing you want gets further out of reach. I haven’t chosen to leave it until I’m 39 – that is the situation I have found myself in."
