Post Malone has dropped an extended version of his star-studded country album, featuring a further nine tracks.
The 29-year-old star released his 18-track album ‘F-1 Trillion’ on Friday (16.08.24), which featured collaborations with the likes of country music legends Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and Luke Combs, and he has now dropped a deluxe version, ‘F-1 Trillion: Long Bed’, which has 27 tracks in total.
He wrote on Instagram: “9 more solo records. F-1 Trillion: Long Bed out now :)”
Following the release of his sixth studio album and first country LP, Post admitted he had the “time of [his] life” making the record.
He wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this project. I am so honored to have worked with some of my favorite artists, writers, and friends… I have had the time of my life making this record, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to make it. Everyone keep expressing yourself, having fun, loving what you do, and loving each other. I love you more than I can say. Have a great night mofo’s, and I’ll see you soon (sic)”
Brad Paisley, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson are among the stars who also feature on Post’s country album, and some of his new tracks on the deluxe version include ‘Yours’, ‘Dead at the Honky Tonk’, and ‘Two Hearts’.
The record also boasts the previously released tune ‘Pour Me A Drink’, featuring Blake, who recently admitted that Post – whose real name is Austin Richard Post – grew up believing Blake’s song ‘Austin’ was written about him.
He told American Songwriter: “Post’s real name is Austin, and he told me that when he was a kid, his mom told him that that song was written about him.
“That’s what he told me, and he said he believed it. His mom was, I guess, the country music fan in the family, and his dad was the rock guy. So, I guess that’s how Post Malone was created.”
