Pink is preparing her daughter to cope with the inevitable death of her ailing dog.
The chart-topping singer has revealed that one of her two pet dogs is "getting ready to go" and she’s worried how her six-year-old daughter Willow will deal with the loss.
Pink – who is preparing to return home to the US after recently spending time in London – shared: "My dogs are old, like 15. One of them is getting ready to go, it will be Willow’s first experience of losing pets and that’s not gonna be fun."
Despite her sadness, Pink is determined that her beloved dog will remain stylish until the very end.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "He’s going to be at home on the ranch for the end.
"If he went when I was gone then I would never forgive myself – he’s been my babe.
"I have three rescues, two are brother and sister and have never spent a day apart in their lives and I’m really sad that one is getting sick.
"In my head I thought maybe they’ll get struck by lightning together, it seems quick."
The ‘Just Give Me a Reason’ hitmaker has a second dog called Fred, who used to be called F***er.
And Pink has an altogether different attitude towards her younger pet.
She quipped: "The three-year-old is a total a**hole, I love him but he’s a d**k."
Meanwhile, Pink recently said she wants to bring her kids up as gender neutral, after Willow expressed a desire to marry an African woman.
The singer, who gave birth to her second child – a son called Jameson Moon – with husband Carey Hart in December last year, explained: "We are a very label-less household. Last week Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like, ‘Great, can you teach me how to make African food?’
"And she’s like, ‘Sure mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready.’ I was like, ‘What the f**k, who are you? Who is paying for this by the way?’"
