Phillip Schofield has created his own wine range.
The 58-year-old TV presenter has teamed up with specialists When In Rome to launch his own economically-friendly wine box collection.
He has chosen a white wine, Falanghina, and a red, Nero di Troia, which have both been ethically sourced from independent Italian vineyards.
Phillip said of his new line: "When I agreed to this partnership, I had certain conditions; I wanted to be part of the tasting team.
"I wanted figures on how eco-friendly box wine was and I wanted it to be good value. The result is something I felt I could really invest in."
The ‘This Morning’ co-host is delighted with the outcome of his collection boxes.
He continued: "I have really enjoyed the process of sourcing, selecting and now sharing these wines with everyone.
"I don’t think there is anything I have been so passionate about, so I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do."
The selection will be launched exclusively in store and online at Waitrose in April.
Phillip recently celebrated his birthday during the coronavirus lockdown while filming ‘This Morning’ with co-host Holly Willoughby.
The 39-year-old presenter gifted her longtime pal a Colin the Caterpillar cake, and revealed she had surprised him with a video call full of famous faces, including Dec Donnelly, Leigh Francis, Emma Bunton, Christine Bleakley, Davina McCall and her husband Dan Baldwin.
A grateful Phil replied: "Thanks very much. It’s a weird birthday, I’m lacking in hugs.
"I had a Zoom party with my mates and that was really lovely, so thank you."
