Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy ‘filming BBC travel show pilot’

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy are reportedly making a travel show pilot.
The retired footballer and supermodel pair – who married in June 2011 – are set to team up on new BBC programme ‘6 Foot 7 Wonders of the World’ as they head to Finland for the Fulwell 73 production.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column "The move firmly establishes the lofty England striker as a favourite among telly bosses who have hired him for several TV shows on the back of his everyman persona.
"Peter’s the sort of bloke everyone finds funny and relatable, and it’s obvious he and Abbey have a dynamic which will make for good viewing."
Peter has proven popular with BBC bosses, having previously been announced as the host of ‘Crouch’s Euro Fest 2020’.
The live post-match show – currently scheduled to air after selected European Championship matches later this year – combines worlds of comedy, entertainment and football.
In a statement, he said at the time: "I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with the BBC and can’t quite believe this is happening.
"All I did was dance like a robot 13 years ago and now I’ve got my own actual TV show.
"I can’t wait for Euro 2020 and for football fever to grip the nation."
Filmed in front of a live studio audience, Peter will be joined by a team of hosts and celebrity guests as they look back at the big game of the night with a comedy twist, combined with a live house band, games, and more.
The future of Euro 2020 is uncertain, with Uefa bosses meeting on Tuesday (17.03.20) to discuss the impact of the coronavirus.
